Excellent. Breakfast was PHENOMENAL!!! No words to describe it. Only complaint is shower door and fire alarm going off twice at night. Everything else was superb!!

The room was clean. But the facility smelled like natural gas in the hallways, fire alarms randomly went off randomly at 5:30-6:30 am, bar and restaurant were closed on a Saturday night. Rooms were clean, and a nice little breakfast. I realize not much to choose from in Livingston, but the smell and safety concern (as well as lack of sleep) with the fire alarms is a concern.

when I arrived to check in, they informed me that they didn't have any rooms available!!!! I told them how is that possible the said that there had been a mistake but how if I already had my reservation and has been paid in full and in advance with Expedia !!!!! I told them how is that possible if I look right now on Expedia it says that there are still rooms available she insisted that there is a mistake .... I was furious because all other hotels where booked we ended up sleeping outside a gas station in the middle of nowhere ...

I prepaid a 2-night stay however when I arrived I was informed that the elevator was out of order and I would have to climb the stairs. I explained that my aunt was disabled and could not climb stairs. They told me that there were no rooms on the first floor available and could not help me. They also told me that the elevator had been out of order for a few weeks. I also overheard the staff talking about running out of coffee for breakfast. Needless to say that I will not ever stay here. Hopefully Expedia refunds me because I had To go to the Angler Hotel across the highway (which i highly recommend)

There were lots of ladybugs, both dead and alive, on the floors and walls of the room as well as in the shower. The AC unit was too large for the room making it act as a dehumidifier instead of colling the room. The bed was definitely not Queen sized as advertised. Chose the hotel because it was one of Choice Hotel's Ascend hotels. We had higher expectations.

Staff was very friendly. But, first room had dead bugs in the floor, and looked like someone had just left it. Second room I was moved the was filthy, including a pubic hair covered shower.

After driving 17hrs I wanted nothing more then to reach this hotel and be able to rest. But as I walked through the door I was hit with a massive smell of natural gas. I checked in and tried to get my wife and newborn upstairs and get some rest. But the smell reached the second floor where our room was my wife and son fell asleep but I couldn’t shake this smell of gas. After looking to see if any other guest have had the same experience I was found guest and staff have been complaining about this and may other health code violations posting pictures and other evidence. I was in the room for 1hr and decided this wasn’t safe fo my family or myself and went to check out The lady at the front desk “Hayley” said she wasn’t surprised to hear these things and that she has been getting calls about the hotel not paying bills and vendors. They refused to refund me so I just left. Worried about other guest I called the fire department and they said the gas alarm goes off every few days and happened to just go off as well before I called but he told me the manager just says it’s a faulty sensor and they never go on site. The owner is also aware that there is black mold issues throughout the hotel and ignores from what staff have said

The room was good, no coffee maker but the coffee served and breakfast downstairs were great. We were disappointed that the bar was not actually open at all and wouldnt be. The staff was wonderful!

Upon entering, we were immediately met with a strong smell of natural gas. When my husband raised the concern at the front desk, the staff member dismissed it, saying he didn’t notice anything. Later that night, around 3 a.m., the alarms went off, which the front desk attributed to a faulty sensor and offered an apology. In addition to these safety concerns, the shower had extremely poor water pressure—little more than a trickle—making it uncomfortable to use.

The lady checking in was very sweet and had good customer service. The only complaint we had was that the room next to us the alarm was going off for about 10 minutes and we called the front desk to let her know and she took care of it. Other than the alarm waking us up at 3AM, the rooms were very clean.
