Mission Espiritu Santo. I visited here while on a roadtrip to South Padre Island (way South Texas). We were taking a violinist, who lives in New York, but was born and raised just outside South Padre Island in Brownsville. You cannot take a roadtrip, without stopping along the way. Especially if you are a photographer. We stopped here and the violinist had agreed, to play, inside this Mission, while I videoed him. This Mission is AMAZINGLY beautiful! It was all hand painted around the doorway. So many photo opportunities and you can feel the personality and the history of the Mission in the atmosphere. I know that may sound weird, but that is the only way I can explain it. #architecture

Hot stuff was hot—cold stuff was cold. Good assortment. Omelets were excellent. Waffle iron needs clearer instructions. Need a less sweet yogurt. Overall I give a thumbs up.

There's nothing very interesting to do in Goliad. They have a nice little bakery, maybe 2 decent dining options unique to the city, some historic sights if you're into that, and a lovely little antique shop. Besides that not much offerings.

for a dead town, it’s amazing location from coast and other cities makes a great stopping point. seems to be a lot of vacant lots and a over all clean up would help the city
