「My wife and I just stayed here for one night and found the hospitality was attentive and welcoming. The location is very convenient and provides for a nice walk along the river into town. The room and public areas are very clean and the bed (and linens) are incredibly comfy. We appreciate the new owners have only had the lodge for a couple of months and have plans to make things even better, but as it is, the lodge exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay here again. 「This hotel is tucked away in the mountains, so a long drive up the hill. Once you get there, everything is in order. On the outside, the building looks like a large, well maintained log cabin and the texts we received prior allowed easy access to the front door and to our room. The room felt cozy and welcoming, and the beds were super comfy, which really made us wish we had a few more days to linger. Breakfast was delish! I was happy to see that there were many serve yourself options...

「The town and services are just on the other side of the river. Located just 2 miles down a well kept, dirt road, the lodge is secluded and quiet. Beautiful lodge with a grand open area with fireplace and sitting rooms. Breakfast was self serve and abundant. Very clean, everyone is asked to remove your shoes before entering the lodge, with slippers available. Definately recommend!」

「Staying in this place was very comfortable. Nice place for both short and long term vacation. We got a penthouse for 5 day staying. 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom was great for couples or family. Although the location was about 15 minutes uphill from the Golden town but the view was totally worth it. We didn't have time to try all the facilities in the place recommended by the staff. Overall, this was a great place if you travel to Banff or Jasper.」
