"I will first say that the help staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a question and the lady came down and persnonally showed me how to operate the AC. When I first entered the room it had an off putting odor until the AC was turned on. The hair dryer did not work nor did the receptacle over the sink. The phone did not work as I was going to ask for a wake up call. They had a clock radio there and I couldn't get that to work either. I had brought my own clock and couldn't find an outlet. Luckily I had my own hair dryer.
The room was comfortable but when I started to turn down the sheets there was a bug on the bedspread. The room was very outdated but it was comfortable and I didn't need a Ritz Carlton type hotel. It served the purpose for a one night stay.
The breakfast was subpar. I overlooked a lot of these things as this is a budget motel and you get what you paid for. "
"When the room above sprung a leak in the bathroom, we were immediately transferred to another room. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was awesome with a good selection. Room was clean and quiet. It is a great place to stay."
"We moved this hotel Comfort Suites after one night from the hotel next door named Wyndham Garden due to horrible experience there(dirty, messy, bad management , room 90 degree but ac failed…), this one is totally different, clean, quiet, big room like 5-star hotel, especially manager, owner and staff so friendly and working hard to maintain great environment, we love it so much, definitely we will come back to book this one next time again"

"During UIUC move-in week or graduation, you're not going to have many choices. Most hotels are fully booked and prices skyrocket. This one was available, and at a good price. So don't expect the world and complain. Yes the areas around the property was not landscaped, room was outdated, mattress needed replacing, towels had stains, sheets had holes, one small bar of soap given, room service unreachable, one front desk staff attending to irate customers who booked through hotel's website being told their reservation cannot be found (so book through Expedia if you're going to stay here.) But at least the room was very clean, AC and fridge cold, shower was hot and had decent pressure, it was quiet, had ample parking, and close to UIUC and I-74. It's a good value if you just need to stay for a night and want a cheap, clean room."
