Staff was friendly and accommodating. We came in very late and they made arrangements for us to get our room key quickly and without complications. The hotel is historic so it is not new but is well kept. The beach walk/ trail is fantastic with incredible views. Would recommend and would return.

We had a great stay one-night stay at the Gilleleje Badehotel just outside of the high season. Everything about the property feels premium. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We opted to eat in the hotel dining room and the food prepared by Vik was exceptional. We’re talking perfectly seasoned and beautifully cooked European dishes with top-end restaurant presentation. The cost of the meal for two was equivalent to the board but was absolutely worth the price point. I couldn’t believe the whole service was produced by a single chef. Brits be warned there are no kettles in the rooms. Instead the hotel lays on coffee and sweet treats for guests to enjoy every afternoon. (You can get hot water from the kitchen at any time though.) The vibe at a badehotel (bathing hotel) is a cross between a BnB and a guesthouse. The average age skews slightly older but we enjoyed the more relaxed pace and communal atmosphere of the hotel. The sauna and steam room were an added bonus and the cosy lobby with log fire provided welcome respite from the rain. All the staff were really welcoming and attentive. Natalie went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed, offering great chat and plenty of advice on travel around the Danish Riviera. We would definitely come back again.

vi havde et dejligt værelse mod vandet, super romantisk indretning. der bydes på kaffe og rabarber trifli i blå stue. vi sad foran den åbne pejs og nød vores kaffe. utrolig høj service fra alt personale. vi kommer igen!

Vackert läge men ändå lite besviken

Rummet var fint men badrummet bedrövligt. Ingenstans att ställa necessär och annat. Efter dusch, vatten på golvet. Skrapa saknades. Ingen tv eller radio. Priset var ändå väldigt högt. Långt till stranden och brygga. I infon stod inget om det. Det sas att det var egen nedgång till havet. För att kallas badhotell borde det vara nära till bad. Annars låg hotellet väldigt vackert. Underbar utsikt. Middag bra och frukosten helt Ok.

Usandsynlig dårlig stand på værelse 23. Hotellets bedste udsigt, men dårligt rengørings niveau, mug/fugt i hjørner, uhumsk badeværelse, med ildelugtende kloak lugt. Beskidt gulvtæppe. Ren seng. Venlig betjening i reception. Uspændende morgenmad og generelt urent på hotellet. Tyder på manglende ledelse. Det er synd for hotellet er placeret så naturskønt.

Rummet vi skulle haft var redan upptaget. Fick ett annat med finare utsikt. Dock fanns ej hiss. Badrummen är äldre standard. Finns ej duschhandtag m.m. Väldigt charmigt och pittoreskt. God men sparsam frukost. Svårt att ta sig ner till stranden.

Välj ett annat hotell!!

Badhotell utan ”bad”. Inga badrockar badtofflor etc. Svårt att ta sig ner till syenstranden nedan.. Rummet hade lång standard, badrum från 60-taler med äcklig plastmatta och toalettstolen nästan i duschen. Duschmunstycke enbart fast monterat uppe. Ingen tv, ingen ac, ingen fläkt, ingen minibar, underbemannat. Största problemet var temperaturen, gick ej sova, var svalt ute men rummen värms upp av något, tex restaurang, kylskåp eller annat från bottenvåning. Inget skohorn etc. Rekommenderar ingen att bo här

Trevlig miljö, god mat men slitet rum.

Trevlig personal. Incheckning fungerade mycket bra. Slitet rum. Betalade extra för balkong med havsutsikt, men balkongen var minimal med ett slitet bord och två stolar. Badrummet mycket litet. Dörren tog i VC stolen. Duschdraperi till duschen. Saknade handdusch. Våtrumsmatta med svarta fläckar i duschen. Sängen var helt ok och utrymme fanns att hänga upp kläder. Frukosten var ok. Miljön trevlig. Vi åt middag i hotellets restaurang; 3 rätters meny med tillhörande vin och var mycket nöjda med maten.

Jeg synes ikke det levede op til prisen. Skulle man bruge badekåbe, skulle man leje, lidt beskidt og så kørte der virkelig høj musik lige under vores værelse. Kl 0715 måtte jeg bede om at få det slukket. Okay sted men for dyrt til det hotellet byder på.

Det var ett trevligt rum, dock var badrummet i behov av renovering. Väldigt varmt på rummet. Hotellet ligger svårtillgängligt till havet, lite synd tyckte vi som ville ta ett morgondopp.
