"The pool is closed for an extended period of time due to the hot tub issues. The older manager is nice-ish when you are in the room, and generally lenient but she's stern. Also, the blow dryer didn't work in rm 139. Although...just to let the general public know, they have roaches right now."

"This hotel is a must stay it has so much history and the elevator is so awesome it’s a piece of history! The staff is amazing and so friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the hotel ! The only negative is there is no air conditioning but they will give you a powerful fan for your room and the windows open to let fresh air in ! If you are traveling thru the area please stay here !"

"We stayed in a nice, large room. It has two sink areas, a large closet for hanging clothes, couch with table & lamp, useful dresser/desk/tv combo. The art is nice. It has plenty of space but is utilitarian. One comfy arm chair and an area rug on the floor would make it cozy. It snowed overnight and the outdoor stairs to the second floor had significant snow on them. It would be safer for the staff to keep those clear of snow."
