Great stay in an authentic heritage building! Slightly out of the centre of Georgetown, but it's a very affordable Grab ride to Georgetown centre. There are lots of great places to eat nearby as well. The bathroom is not an indoor bathroom (but full privacy with wooden blinds and shower curtains) but it didn't bother us too much. Highly recommend for those looking to stay in a traditional home!

Great location. Close to transit (very easy to use), hop-on-off bus or walk to nearby food hawkers. Room was very spacious and had a separate living room.

Quaint b&b near lots of great food

The hotel is in the quaint Bangkok lane lined with colonial houses. The vibe is quintessentially Penang. We stayed in one of the bigger rooms (mezzanine 1) and it was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner and staff are all very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is on the western edge of Georgetown and is pleasantly quiet at night. Lots of great eats in the area - about 2mins walk from the local favorite Bangkok Lane mee goreng, 5mins from the Pulau Tikus market, and 15min from the Gurney Drive night market and 2 other large malls. It takes about 30-45mins to get into the historic part of Georgetown by bus.
