"Beautiful property. Walking distance to historic downtown. Very comfortable with several areas to sit outside and relax. Breakfast was homemade and delicious every morning. Even adjusted to our dietary needs. Housekeeping is only when you checkout and that was a little different for us. Also limited ice if that's important to you. "There are actually so many nice things to say about this place. The host is super kind and always available. The place is beautifully decorated with everything you might need even an iron hair dryer. I am very sensitive to scented items and there are no harsh chemicals or scents. Even the soaps and lotions she provides are not overly scented. I was surprised to learn there was a cleaning fee but it’s only $25 which seems fair. "This place is an absolute delight! We stayed in the Blue Heron and it was just perfect for a two night stay. It's very close to the road but you honestly don't even hear the traffic at all. The houses are right on the lake and it's so peaceful. We saw so many birds and turtles, even a lake otter swimming around!
