I was pleasantly surprised how clean and nice the motel was. The staff was extremely friendly and the cook was nice and cooked us a great breakfast our whole stay. Loved the stream out our balcony.

The hotel room was clean and updated. The breakfast was awesome! The room had a nice view of the river and there was a trolly to take you downtown which was a good distance away. Hard to complain about anything. Cool little motel that has been recently renovated

Support the local businesses. A WONDERFUL Mom& Pop motor hotel that has been refurbished to meet the needs of today’s travelers. Warm and welcoming, we were greeted and quickly checked in. Rooms are pristinely clean and have a generous amount of bathroom needs. Sundry supplies are good. Weekend offered a made to order delicious breakfast. Trolly stop to Gatlinburg downtown is directly across the street . Definitely a place I would return to.

Excellent! Comfy beds. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Enjoyed coffee on the balcony overlooking the creek. Would stay here again.

I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised by this facility. It has been newly renovated. The beds are very soft and comfortable, I had no trouble sleeping. The carpet seems new. It was very clean. we had a balcony overlooking a stream, where we saw a bear one morning

The motel was right by the park, near some of the best hiking spots. They let my partner and I keep our things in our room past checkout so that we could shower before dinner. The gentleman up front also looked at my hiking route to confirm it was safe and doable this time of year. Personalized, kind, attentive service. So appreciated!

My family had a great overnight stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. Having a private balcony with a water view was a nice plus. Breakfast on Saturday morning was excellent and the outside eating areas are perfect. We will stay here again.

Sleepy Bear is a great little motel off the parkway in Gatlinburg. Everyone was so friendly, you could get a fresh, hot breakfast, and they'd keep the pool open for a late night swim. It's in a great location, near everything, and you can't beat the rate. The rooms were nice, clean, and had nice toiletries and plenty of towels. Would stay again!

Staff was great, room looked to be recently remodeled and had basic amenities. Best part was the food across the street and a beautiful balcony overlooking a peaceful stream. 10/10 for the price and location!
