"I loved the beds, they are very comfortable and you can't hear any noise. When we arrived the person was very kind no bad experience everything was perfect . Thank you "
"We were really happy with our experience at the Palmer House. The room was really nice and the hotel was in walking distance to Millennium Park, Grant Park, shopping, etc.
We were dining and a manager came up just to say hi and find out if we were happy (we were). He started talking about how Palmer House invented the brownie and gave us brownies to try (delicious!). This was Lollapalooza weekend and he clearly had a lot to do - he still took the time to give individual attention. Very impressed with the service.
The Lockwood Room is also gorgeous. It’s a great place to grab drinks. (And for coffee addicts like me, there is Starbucks on the property.)
Very happy with our experience - perfect from start to finish. We will be staying here again. "
Hyatt Place Chicago-South/University Medical Center
10/10 Excellent
"This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Big room with a separate sitting area, everything new and clean and modern design.
It was a little bit of a trick figuring out how to get to their parking (you have to check in first, then use your key card to get in and get out), but I really appreciated that after we checked out we could leave the car there until 3, so we were able to leave the car there while we did stuff in the morning. It took a surprising amount of time to get an Uber (13 minutes).
There were a lot of food options in easy walking distance. The hotel also sells breakfast, but we didn't try that."
"No frills hotel room with a reasonable price for Chicago and a great location to walk downtown. Also has parking very near for Chinatown at 18.99 for 24 hrs."
