"This is a very nice place if you decide to stay few days in Negombo. The owner is a very nice host. We arrived very late at night ( 2am) and we had no problem to check in. Very good value for the money if you need a simple convenient place to stay while in Negombo."

And they also confirmed with the driver in the morning that I was on my way- love how they cared. The hotel was clean, and as a lonly traveler I felt really safe. "I arrived at midnight, and even if the check-in closed at 9pm, they picked me up for free at the airport without complaining. The room was clean, the wifi fast and the shower had hot water with good pressure. I love this place and have already booked it again for the return-trip."

We can recommend the Araliya Cottage because of the excellent service, delicious meals and the house is beautiful with a large garden. The owner spend hours telling us about Sri Lanka and took us to the beach free of charge were we had street food.
