「The main reason for my 2 star rating was the unacceptable noise at night. Sounded like a immersion heater or similar going beserk. It was like trying to sleep next to a jet engine. I was in room 2. I left very early as it was so bad, I just couldn't stand the noise. The hotel wasn't too bad, but ifyou can't sleep what's the point of staying? Not recommended. I'm glad it was only one night.」
「Workmen working outside just after 8am the first morning. No one advised this on check in. Sheets had stains on and very visible. Hotel did change the sheets but they should have never been put on the bed in the first place. Spa was very nice. Little disappointed with this level of hotel」
「Conveniently situated & serves the one of the best breakfasts in all of the travelling we’ve done over the years throughout the UK. The owner-hosts were very helpful & genuinely friendly without being imposing. Only one minor criticism of the room in that I found one of my pillows was flat & the other like having my head on a rock. However, my wife’s were fine, so that made everything alright as she told me to stop moaning😉 Our thanks to the owner Peter for the recommendation for the best fish...
