There’s a great spa and fitness center on site that we also took advantage of. The best part about this hotel though was the staff and how friendly and welcoming they were! "First, be aware that you need to follow ALL of the signs that say, “Runchee.” Your GPS/Apple Maps/Google maps will NOT take you to the hotel/B&B. Parking is easy. Find the place is not. Breakfast: if your idea of breakfast is bread and butter, coffee and cake, then you’re in business. Don’t expect a real meal. I paid in advance and the lady running the place chased me down to pay for my stay. Mistakes happen."

"This property has some very good assets. It also has some issues that need to be resolved. The location on the north end of Lake Como and the short distance to transportation to the rest of the lake is awesome. But we tried to get some information from the owner/manager on our first night and it turned into a fiasco. The manager got angry with me for asking simple questions. Rude, arrogant staff
"Staff incredibly rude including in restaurant. Quite rude allowing entry to hotel in evening. Very rude in restaurant despite them getting the order wrong….3 times. Then arguing that one of the group ordered something theu hadn’t even seen on the menu instead of steak, despite asking for it medium rare. Muttering in Italian as he walked away, clearly angry and practically throwing the plate down on the table. Then when it was time to pay, fairly sure the person from front desk called us swear words, not realising we knew what the word ‘putana’ means. 2nd business trip at this hotel, first one 18 months ago. Never again."
