Stunning views, quiet, clean and comfortable

A gem of a location. Our room looked over the clock tower with the mountains towering in the background. It was picture postcard perfect. Rooms apear to have been newly renovated. It was a very quiet and comfortable location. The village of Chiavenna is beautiful, looking like it has been untouched by time. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer.

Excellent refurbished hotel in the middle of the town. Free parking behind the hotel and attached nice restaurant in the same building. Bed was good and the bathroom just remodeled. Nice views from the room to the mountains! Only negative thing was the noises coming from outside (young people partying until 3am as it was saturday). Chiavenna was a beautiful town! Would come again and stay in this hotel.

The staff and food was all great. The location is very good except when it is a weekend with the party people circling the hotel until after midnight. I do remember when I was young so having earplugs does help. I would suggest they take the bright green light off of the phone on the wall as it lights up the whole room. Thank goodness for eyeshades 😃.

Ideales Hotel für ÖV-Reisende

Ideales Hotel für Bus-oder Zugreisende, denn es liegt einen Katzensprung vom Bahnhof und der Bushaltestelle entfernt und in Gehdistanz zur Altstadt von Chiavenna. Zimmer eher klein aber sauber und im guten Zustand. Genügendes Frühstücksbüffet. Für eine Nacht durchaus empfehlenswert!

Chiavenna - Europas vackraste by ?

Denna by besökte vi en tidig vår, i samband med en skidsemester i Sankt Moritz, för cirka 30 år sedan. Vi har därefter pratat om att åka tillbaka. Så fantastiskt vacker där den ligger helt omgärdad av höga berg. Vi blev dock mycket besvikna på hotellet vi valt, som inte alls stämde överens med de recensioner tidigare gäster lämnat. Det fanns absolut ingen charm, fattar inte hur man, i denna fantastiska gamla by kan bygga ett sådant opersonligt hotell. Frukosten som också fått fina recensioner var bedrövlig. Vårt besök blev ändå väldigt bra och Chiavenna är fortfarande en av de vackraste platser vi varit på.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich.Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Die Lage praktisch da nahe Bahnhof. Nicht ganz leise. Der Frühstücksraum ist gross und entsprechend lärmig. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ansprechend. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert!
