「Not sure how this is even classed as a 4*. Rooms closer to a barrack.. doesn’t have shampoo and hair conditioner or body wash so bring your own as they only have a weird water-activated hand soap. When we asked for an ironing board we were told they don’t have any for guests and would only accept dropping our clothes off so long as not linen, with turnaround of 3-4 days… Beds also not comfortable and dirty without a proper cover, only a sheet. 「Excellent staff Maria at front desk was most helpful. The bar staff were very good as well considering I don't speak English. Room was fine and comfortable I even received a free upgrade which I always enjoy. 」

「It’s a beautiful small property with a very cool design. Fairly rustic though and with a bit of a farmhouse feel and therefore maybe not for everyone. Managers and owners Giacomo and Paola are both fantastic. Giacomo in particular was a superstar, passionately speaking about the wines of the winery and the region, giving us great restaurant recommendations and really going above and beyond with a smile. 」

「We had a lovely stay at Cento Tari. The room and balcony was just as described, and we loved the view. The best thing was the owners, who were friendly and helpful. They really care about their guests and made sure we had everything wenneeded」

「This is a beautiful hotel with breathtaking views and a great location. Our room was large (compared to some European hotels). The bathroom was new. The pool area is gorgeous, again spectacular views. The bar area is nice and there was a piano player in the evening. Valet parking was terrific. Breakfast was great. Only reason for 4 versus 5 is that the hotel is a bit tired. However, when compared to €2600 of San Domingo Palace, this is a gem. 」

Parking is a little far, about 10 minutes away in a public lot. Contact person for property was very responsive and very helpful; she provided excellent recommendations. Very cozy and comfortable stay for a couple. 」

「Junior suite that wecwere in had a stupid shower unit placed in the middle, spilling water everywhere. Breakfast was fresh but outdoor service pitifully slow. Had to make a take-away arrangement with the helpful concierge to tie in with a taxi pick-up.」
