「Breakfast was excellent every day. The beds were comfortable. Promised boat rides were cancelled or delayed. Had to wash coffee cup in my room to use it. Porch was full of spiders & webs. The floor above my room (hallway & guest room) creaked so loudly when walked on, there was no sleeping until after everyone quieted down for the night. Owner was a "my way or the highway" kinda guy, telling guests to not wear bug spray or exchange chairs at outdoor tables. Disappointing, as this was a...

「Cove Creek Lodge is a beautiful property in an incredible location at Deep Creek Lake! One of the biggest highlights is being able to walk to several great restaurants and the popular Honi-Honi Bar for drinks, live music, and entertainment without ever needing to get in the car. The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished, clean, and comfortable, with a cozy mountain-lodge feel. The property itself is gorgeous, with beautiful grounds, a relaxing atmosphere, and a great outdoor pool. It's the...

「Rooms were clean, Private bath. Shared kitchen and living room which made for great company and the meeting of new friends. Met one couple at 7pm and chatted until after midnight. Not much in area for restaurants but you have use of the kitchen to reheat, cook or store food. Beautiful river on one side and the train line on the other. Ear plugs provided if you don't like the sounds of trains or you can watch the 103 cars go by. An interesting find with easy access after property provided...

「The room was dirty when we got there. Urine in the toilet, hair in the tub, used towels on the floor, the bed obviously slept in. I called and let them know, to be fair they came and cleaned it.. sort of. The tub still had hair in it, and the paperwork meant for the previous guests was still in the room and a stink bug was still on the dresser. Add to this we had to go somewhere else and wait, after driving… to come back to it still not done. Basically it tainted the entire experience. If this...

「The main problem was with the rental company. They had the incorrect password listed in the notebook. When we called them, they kept saying it was correct and saying they’d get back with us. Over several hours they never re-contacted us. We’d have to constantly contact them. We were able to figure out the password which was different than the one they had listed.」
