"The staff were all really friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. The parking (albeit a bit tight to get into) was easy and really secure. The bar and restaurant were both lovely and the food was of a good standard. Negatives: Our room (above the bar) was noisy both from the bar and from the busy road. "The bedrooms have good facilities which adds to comfort, ie comfortable bed, Roberts radio, iron and ironing board, cafetière for your coffee as well as choice of teas. Large bathroom with good shower which was powerful and hot. We had dinner at the hotel and even though the food was okay, the service was slow. The staff were very apologetic but there were large parties in for dining and there are not enough waiting staff to cope."
