A short walk (500 yards) up a steep hill from the main strip in English Harbour provides amazing views of Nelson’s dockyard near enough to walk to all the restaurants and far enough away from the noise of the nightclubs so the only sound at night are the tree frogs chirping. Annie and Roger are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. 10/10 for staff. Simple but delicious breakfast served on the large terrace overlooking the sea completes the peaceful charm of this colonial style...

「I normally stay at Jolly Beach Resort when I come but decided to try Jolly Castle. The room was spacious and perfect for my stay. 」

「Stunning property, buildings and rooms. The beach is small and the sunbeds on the beach and by the pools are almost on top of each other. For that reason, although it’s a gorgeous property with incredible hospitality, I probably wouldn’t book here again. Unless, I was able to book Diamond. That area seemed to have more personal space.」

「The property is in a lovely location, very quiet a a peaceful - you really need a car as nowhere nearby to get supplies, it’s basic, but immaculate and with everything you need. Sharon was very helpful, but we sadly we were unable to meet Gabriela and Douglas on this occasion, we had read such glowing reviews about them. (I hope you are feeling better, and hopefully we may get to come again and meet you). Deep bay is a 20 min walk and is just gorgeous. 」

「The beach and pools were beautiful and clean. The rooms were dirty. There were hairballs and dust everywhere. Did not want to go barefoot in the shower. Breakfast was good but crowded. Lunch options were very limited. And food took a long time. We stayed 3 nights and could not get a reservation at the pizza restaurant because they had no room for the group of 7 of us on any night which was ridiculous. Many of the tourists there you could tell were very cheap and trying to save pennies. So they...

「This is an affordable, comfortable option for a stay near English and Falmouth Harbors in Antigua. It works best for people who have other connections on the island like the Sailing Regatta. It is not a destination itself with the amenities of a resort.」

「location was hard to find as you have to use the location given in Expedia. Place was in a nice quiet location. Areas of improvement: sink water was running very very very slowly. Need sink replaced. Toilet would run more often on the second/third day and having to manually hold the stopper down was too much. WiFi was spotty which could have been due to the location. Scenery was beautiful, management was responsive and helpful. Parking is also scarce. I would book again as a 5:6:7th option for...
