Karen, with all the respect, we had a guests that self-checked in, in the wrong date, we confront the guests and he agreed that he made a mistake, we asked him to move elsewhere and he had no problem to do so, we have the cleaning crew ready to clean the cabin and have it ready within an hour for her, after some thoughts, she decided NOT to stay, that was her choice and we respect her decision. Thanks, I do not believe we did anything wrong here, a guest that schedule to stay with us October 28th, self-check in on October 21st, all our Cabins is self-check in,like you are getting instructions how to excess the door, sorry for what happen.

VRBO booked me at this place because they screwed up my original booking after charging my credit card almost 700.00. TVs don’t work ac barely works sewer is backed up. These booking agents have done a horrible job.I will be contacting them in the morning

sorry for all the troubles, not sure the cabin we are talking about, not sure how from VRBO you got Expedia???, is this last minute booking?, I got a call in 2AM in the morning from someone with heavy accent. sounds like roosters in the back ground asking me if i have two night stay. I Berly understood what he asking.my answered was if the Calander is block meaning NO, I asked him with cabin we are discussing he did not know and he hung-up and end the call, again not sure.this cabins that we have located in the country with septic system and well, so sometime is getting slow, this is NOT a city hotel by any mean, sorry for the confusing

Great get-away!
Cabin was very comfortable. Perfect location on 290 if your goal is to visit the vineyards. The Mendelbaum Winery provides great Israeli wines.

Worked out in the end. Great wine!
Initially we did not know how to get into our room. Once we did the second level had dog feces in it. Thwy quickly changed us to another cabin. Apparently Hotels.com neber confirmed our booking with Mendelbaum, and so they were not quite prepared for us, and had not charged. Ultimately thwy were great and took care of us. The managers were kot happy with Hotwls.com

Tucked away gem.
Small and tight quarters, but has everything that you would need. Stocked kitchen. Great place for a couple staying to see what the area has to offer. Close to the area wineries and just a short drive to town. Tucked in away from the road for a quiet retreat. Everything worked as it should. Deck was a nice touch to enjoy some of the wine that we bought.

The property was very beautiful. I was really looking forward to the hot tub, but wasent clean enough to use , and the hot water ran out after one shower .

The property was amazing. The cabin was slightly dirty and the bed wasn’t all that comfortable. Also, the pics showed a fire pit which is one of the reasons we chose this place and we were told that it is no longer an option after we arrived. The staff were extremely friendly. We saw deer everyday and it was quiet and peaceful. The wine was delicious!!!!

It was a nice spot and it’s good for a couple or a small family. Where to park was confusing. The vegetation around the walkway leading into the cabin entrance needed to be trimmed. Where to leave to key when checking was also confusing. The person I pick the key up from when we checked in said leave it in the room. The instructions in the cabin said leave it under the mat. I had to call for clarification

This is my second time staying here and I LOVE these cabins! I have stayed in 2 different ones and they were both just as clean and comfortable! Management was very accommodating during our stay. We left some items behind and they had no problem mailing them to us.

Dirty hot tub. I was told hot tub was private. Although it was just for us, it was not in a private location (10 ft from next cabin). Bed was uncomfortable. Workers were nice but place was very over priced for the accommodations

The "tiny house" cabins are located on a beautiful wooded property away from the highway. They are a wonderful place for people travelling with a dog. The bedroom was too small for the queen size bed and the bedding and mattress were sub standard. There were some maintenance issues but the onsite manager responded positively.

It had alot of room to fit 4 or more guest. The area was private and quaint, even with several cabins in the area. I enjoyed the stay and plan to book again.

The property was beautiful and at night you can light a bonfire if you know how to. Some of the areas of the cabin were a little dusty/dirty and the carpet of the loft had stains but nothing too crazy. My only complaint was it wasn’t the cleanest place ever but it was still a lovely place to stay in

Did a girls trip this past weekend and loved our stay! Very affordable and comfortable cabin. We loved access to the fire pit and even made s’mores by the fire.

The cabin was very clean. Linens and towels were stark white. Beautiful scenery through the cabin all front windows. Saw deer in the morning. Went hiking and saw more deer. Went down to the creek. Owner was very nice. Will definitely stay here again. The only thing I could say was the bed was very squeaky trying to get out without waking the other person up.

Family Getaway
Great place for a relaxing family getaway. We brought our family pet on vacation for the first time and it was an amazing experience. We came away relaxed. The cabin was quaint and the grounds were shady and cool. Staff made sure everything was well-prepared.

I don’t know how this place has any positive reviews. Our cabin was disgusting and not properly prepared for guests. The “master” bedroom is the size of a walk in closet and the headboard was not properly put on the wall. My husband went to push the bed against the wall and the headboard literally fell off. Who screws a headboard into dry wall?? We were highly disappointed and will never be back. Save your money!!! This place has no right charging people $200 + a night.

The cabin was clean and smelled good. I saw no bugs or visible defective amenities. The cabin is suppose to be rustic and "old" so it was perfect for our long weekend. My daughter loved the interaction with the friendly Llama's in the fenced in field next to us. Very friendly and a cool experience. The deer are all over the place!

Cute & cozy.
This cabin was so cute and cozy. There was 6 of us and it was perfect for us. The only thing I recommend is they need a few more mirrors in the cabin. One mirror for 6 women is a bit tough, but we had a blast. Loved the swing on the front porch.

Booking and check in was very simple. The olive cabin is such a cute little cabin with a big front porch, porch swing and a table and chairs. The property was lush and green, with beautiful oak trees surrounding you. Peaceful and lovely. We will be back!

The location was very nice. It needed some mowing. The cabin needed some cosmetic improvement. The cleaning needed to be better. Toothpaste on the bathroom cabinet. Sheet rock unpainted above a door. Bed dipped in the center.

Cozy and peaceful
The Olive cabin was comfortable and spacious enough for our group of 5 adults. We loved the relaxing atmosphere. Kitchen is well stocked, the sink faucet just needs some repair. The rug in the downstairs living area looks like it needs a cleaning as well.

Lovely place, beautiful and cabin is super cute. Property manager was great. Maybe the only thing I would have to mention was the room curtains and window blinds are kind of old, but, we’re Definitely coming back.

Lovely cabins right outside of Fredericksburg
We loved staying at these cabins! It's the perfect location if you're looking for a peaceful getaway, but also want to be close to a town and other things to do. The cabins are right off 290 with access to all the wineries around. We loved the loft and the full kitchen, as well as the Jacuzzi on the patio! You also get 10% off at the Mendelbaum Winery if you are a guest at the cabins. We loved the area and will definitely be back! It's a great option for friends and families.
