"When we were there, there was a renovation"

"Initially, when opening the door - I was comfortable - the room/bathroom were clean, all the furnishings were well maintained, the normal electronics were provided. But as I settled in - the mini fridge freezer door was iced up and would not close so that was unusable to keep ice & the fridge took hours to reach a cooler temperature to keep beverages etc.. Next, the air conditioner - I had a choice - listen to the grunting & groaning of an aged appliance or turn it off. So while awake I kept the aircon on & when I went to bed I turned it off. On the upside - an excellent location to everything, had no disturbances, front desk/house cleaning staff were cheery, knowledgeable and very accommodating, I would stay at this lodging again."

"It was a three-day weekend and it was difficult to get a hotel in downtown Vancouver. I didn’t mind the drive to Abbotsford. The facility was clean and the staff was helpful. The only concern I had and it was out of the hotel’s control is the intermittent scent of fertilizer that was in the air. It wasn’t constant. In terms of food, there is a 24 hr A&W not to far, which if your hungry it’s not that far away. There is a swimming pool and a jacuzzi, quite convenient. I’d stay at this place again or another opportunity arises."
