The location of the hotel having a private beach was great, even in the off season. The hotel itself was super clean, but a tad dated in decor, but the views make up for it and then some. Beautiful views, amazing gardens, fabulous pool and friendly staff. Good location between the beach and the town - walk down to the cable car to avoid the steps up to town. The staff were very helpful and accomodating. The village is very peaceful and quiet at night being about 20 minutes walk from the noisy and traffic congested sea front, so coming back after an evening out we appreciated our quiet site.
