Not my first time staying here, it’s been a while and man does this place need a makeover. Location is great and the room was clean but overall the place is run down. There used to be a bar and restaurant but it’s closed. If you’re looking for a 4 star hotel keep looking

The property itself was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the pool area was nice. I also loved that it was right across from the beach, which makes the location a huge plus. The biggest downside is that the rooms and hallways are very outdated and have an older motel feel. The beds were decent and, most importantly, the room was clean and we did not have any issues with bugs. It just looks and feels very old and could definitely use a renovation. With updated rooms and hallways, this could honestly be a really great place to stay because the location, cleanliness, pool, and staff are already great. I would consider staying again, but I’d love to see the rooms renovated.

This hotel was in an excellent location, the room was very big, the staff were welcoming (on my one interaction) and the price was cheap, so it was perfect for our one night stop. That being said, it definitely was not very clean and upkept, you get what you pay for and in this case you are paying for the location!

The staff was awesome however the hotel needs some MAJOR updating, The bathroom wasn’t finished being cleaned, long black hairs in towels, Water had a yellow tint, we didn’t even feel comfortable even showering. Floors were worn and dirty and the walk all the way to our room made us (2 women) very uncomfortable. The restaurant was closed as well which was one of the reasons we booked because we were staying the night before our cruise and wanted to be able to just walk to grab a bite. Again, the staff was amazing but someone really needs to bring this piece of history up to date. I love the history but just would not feel comfortable staying there again.

Budget friendly hotel . No bells and whistle right on the board walk seconds from the beach within walking distance from the restaurants bars. Very cold rooms served its purpose.little boutique next to the entrance for drinks refreshments.hard to navigate through the cable channels

I liked the staff and the pool. The lobby was cool and historic. I really did not like that the restaurant was not open (closed for 4 years and still included in ads/pics). I was expecting to spend quite a bit of time there. The room was not renovated, which I expected, but there was so little lighting and no sheers to enjoy outside light, the room felt cave-like. The bathroom smelled of urine and was not clean (quite a bit of hair, etc.). I cleaned it myself. I found a lizard in my room the last day and checked out early. Still waiting for a response from the hotel if I can be reimbursed for that day.

Great place to stay on the beach and affordable! Super convenient location and walkable to restaurants and bars. I was disappointed that the restaurant and bar was not open when we stayed, however, the small convenience store was great to purchase affordable drinks and snacks. While the place is very dated & could use remodeling, for the price, you can't beat it and we would definitely stay here again!

The location for this hotel is incredible. The free parking amazing, but most importantly, the staff was 5-star! The staff was better than any 5-star hotel I’ve stayed at. The hotel is definitely a diamond in the rough.
