I booked this and was very reluctant at 1st, however I got the insurance from Expedia in case something went wrong!!! I Loved it, the only issue was I had to valet every time. I would love to book again on my next visit!!!

Good location bud information during reservation
The hotel was very well located but when I made the reservation I did not notice that the room was privately owned and had no maid service every day. This has never happened to me in Expedia. You should advertise this room through the hotel management so when rented people can get all the benefits of the hotel.

We were to receive parking included & were charged $33 per day. After checking out we discovered they had charged our credit card twice for the parking. We are still trying to solve this issue with the hotel. The rooms are in need of renovation and updating. The hotel didn’t seem too helpful because we booked the room through Expedia instead of directly through them.

You will receive a refund for the valet parking. The building changed the parking rules without notice and left many owners in the vulnerable position of honoring valet parking when it was no longer available. This was an appalling business practice carried out by Hilton and the building developer to undermine owners who operate outside their rental program.

Pool closed. No internet in rooms. Because it was private condo wi-fi in lobby did not accept our room number. We did use the laundry. Watch out for flooding on the laundry floor. Hotel outside entrance was being cement covered all one morning blowing all over hotel. Difficult to leave hotel untill manager stopoed them. That could have been a health issue because we received NO notice.

got scamed for parking fees
even though the parking fees were included in my total price, the hotel did not want ti give me the keys unless i paid the parking of 180usd. Tried to get it back from the owner...so far nothing. vrbo and gallery one= last time for me. The service received at the hotel was non existent even for an extra pair of sheets because there was one missing for the kids in the condo. after proposing paying for it the answer was " sorry can't halp you, you are on a private unit". so my kids can freeze!! thanks what a customer service!!!

Great stay! Nice room!
This was perfect for our family! we had 7 people all together and we still had room for 1 more person. The condo was clean well kept and just comfortable. The only thing was house keeping did not come the whole time of our stay. We were told that if we need something we had to call a different number (which we did not have) I assume the condo was own privately and not by the Hotel its self. so we had to buy our own toilet paper and reuse towels. other than that we had a good time and our stay here was pleasant. well worth it and I would stay here again for sure!!! and the pool was great for the kids!!

Total Disappointment and waste of saved money
This was a complete disappointment and truly feel like it ruined our family vacation. Saved for years for this vacation to be so disappointed to have wasted a huge amount of it. We will highly reconsider going thru Hotels.com again. We are truly terrified this experience will happen again. I have never been so disgusted and disappointed. We can never get those 2 weeks back and I feel terrible I put my family thru this. Hotels.com should very much consider removing this rental from their site. I feel terrible for whoever may rent from this place again. and If they want to contact me for more information I will freely give my number. Again, a this was a ruined vacation. Our family saved money for this trip and feel taken advantage of. Bugs everywhere, stains on carpet, Vomit on carpet, sour milk in dishes in cupboard, gum on carpet, beds uncomfortable and had bugs, no house cleaning, vacuum in closet had vomit and sour milk inside it and clogged with it, not enough towels and cloths, personal items from stranger in closet with opened food and alcohol laying around, refrigerator froze the food and ruined it, air conditioned wouldn't work, pullout couch bed was bent and VERY UNCOMFORTABLE, etc.... We were also told there would be free self parking and ended up paying for valet parking which was a huge amount from our savings. Tried to move but could not get a full reimbursement and had to stay. It was awful. Hotel has nothing to do with you at all! Nothing from hotel is included.

The room was supposedly clean an absolutely filthy. There's another hotel under construction next door with cranes and everything else loud and intrusive and the hotel front desk has nothing to do with the private condos so when you try to call the private condo company no one ever answers the phone. Took over 3 hours for Orbitz to get ahold of the person at the condo desk which is ridiculous in the middle of the day my room was not what I paid for I had no Canal View I had a parking lot View and a construction View and it was filthy. I would have been happier staying at a Motel 6. Stay here at your own risk the property on the scale of 1 to 10 is no more than a 2.

More Than I Expected
My stay at Gallery One was great. Everything was accommodating and the view was amazing. I got more than I paid for. My only complaint would be if you rent a private owner condo the owner should considering putting a extra roll of tissue in the room. Room sleeps 4 and 1 roll of tissue won't cut it.

Not at all matching the Description
The Private Condos at GalleryOne in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, were not at all what we were expecting. First, we called the resort to see if our room might be ready 1 hour early and were told unfortunately not as the condo owners would not allow early check ins. So we waited until our time, and when we arrived we checked in and found out there was a Valet Fee of $35 a day. Not what we expected, but we paid it and went on. We got our room keys, and went to drop off our bags. We were given room 1030 with two queen beds and a balcony. We got to the room and there was mold covering parts of the ceiling as seen in the pictures below. This was unacceptable. We also learned that the two night stay did not include any maid service which was OK and did not include more than one roll of toilet paper and no paper towels for the kitchen. So we continued to look past that and move on with our evening. We left the room and headed down to the pool to relax. We found some chairs and an umbrella for shade and noticed that the pool was in working order but that the hot tub was not working. Again we tried to look past that. The room itself was fine as we had a place to relax, eat, shower, and sleep, but the up keep of the room itself was awful. Oh and by the way, during a shower a little friend came by to greet in the form of a cockroach. Again not acceptable. Would we use these condos again? Probably not. Would we recommend them to someone? No.

Nice Hotel but beware of hidden costs
Hotel was excellent with good location. They charge for everything including mandatory valet parking at $35 per day. Internet is also a charge. The room is still a value though as it has everything from kitchenette to separate living room with pullout.

Disappointing Stay
No maid service, clean towels or linens, or even toilet paper were furnished after two days; the explanation given by the front desk was that the unit I had booked was "privately owned," although the room contained notices placed near the phone to contact the Doubltree/Hilton front desk should I need anything at all. If it was a private unit, why were these notices posted in the unit at all, and furthermore, why was I not notified by hotels.com this information upon booking? This experience makes me doubt hotels.com's honesty and reliability, and the Doubltree/Hilton hotel's choice to affiliate themselves with a hotel that provides both accommodations under their name and also ones that are "privately-owned," causing much disappointment and confusion on my part during my much-anticipated vacation. Very aggravating situation that marked my stay with frustration.

Correct, you rented a private condo as stated in the title. The units a setup with supplies for your initial days but you need to buy additional items when required. There is a publix right across the road.

Condos are not apart of the hotel
I am a Hhonors member and your stay as a guest of the private condos you will not get points for your stay. The room are nice with patio deck. My condo was equipped with an iron but did not have a board. The hot tub still have not been fixed and I read this on a review from a previous quest some time ago, in which the time frame should of surpass with repairs. Don't expect the hotel to accommodate you with anything in which they will tell you that your room is not apart of there hotel because they are privately own so your stay will be like you are a guest with air bnb. The hotel charges you for parking like you are there guest which is $33.00 plus tax a night in which I thought if this is privately own condos where is the free parking pass for the parking deck. My condo also had roaches crawling on the countertop, this have to be constant problem because there was combat bait under the cabinet.

If you book anywhere other than Hiltons own website you will not collect hhonors points. That applies to Expedia also. When you review please always be careful to provide accurate information. All guests pay for valet parking. Hilton and private guests.

Great location and view
We have rented at Gallery One for the past eight years. This last year, we experienced a significant deterioration with the entire hotel. The grounds and elevators were unkept and dirty, trash cans full, front office staff particularly the supervisor needs another job! The halls were dirty, carpets stained throughout the hall ways and smell stuffy. We did not have a housekeeper ever come to our room despite the owner telling us they would send one the next day. Floors and bathrooms were dirty and we had to clean floors ourselves. However, the most disappointing thing is the hotel charges for valet parking! $ 37.00 to valet park. I should have the right to self park , specially at the rate they charge for valet plus tip! We Then we're told by the private owner condos charge differently. The front desk supervisor at the front desk never told us that, she was quick to charge the full amount and was rude!!! Hotel and private condo owner need to be transparent with their customers. What a shame!! This hotel needs a lesson in customer service and get it together!!!

We had a bad experience since we got there. we had not been told that the property had a private owner and the hotel would not do anything to make our experience better they would say that they were not responsible for our unit since it had a private owner. Also we had been told that the parking was free and had to pay for it anyways. Also we stayed there for a week and no one came to clean since it was a private unit. The bath tub on the master room was always flooding.

Hilton changed the parking rules without notice and left many owners in a difficult situation. This was appalling behavior and done deliberately to force all owners back into the Hilton rental program which they of course profit from.

You rented a private condo. As such the unit is set up initially with toiletries but there is no daily maid service.

So many better choices in the area!
This property is very dated and is desperate need of some TLC, even though the lobby seemed updated. My unit was old and needed new carpet and paint, to the point where I questioned if it was actually clean. The furniture in the living room was sparse and mismatched and not at all cozy. The couch even made an obnoxious groaning noise when I sat on it. The bed was OK and the view was spectacular. While the shower with glass door was a pleasant surprise, the shower itself needed to be re-grouted and had a ton of mildew. I almost wished I had been wearing flip flops. The breakfast was expensive considering it wasn't very good. The free breakfast at a Hampton is better. Getting a cup of coffee or a bottle of water from the lobby (that I was more than willing to pay for!) was really inconvenient. It seemed like we were bothering the staff members. With so many other choices of hotels in the area, this was a first and a last at this one.

Short of expectations
When I first arrived, It wasn't clear it was the Double Tree condos. The first room they gave me was never cleaned and had un-made beds, dirty dishes & towels, etc... Went to front desk and they said this was a private condo that they couldn't help. However, they (DoubleTree Associates) did their everything they could, they kept looking up phone numbers until I got a hold of someone. Then they gave me a new room. Thought it was nice, then the thermostat for the Air said low battery and wouldn't turn on. Had to take the thermostat apart and take the batteries from the tv remote to get Air working. Then the light bulb over the dinning room table was burnt out. Went in the bathroom and saw mold in the shower. Something a little Tilex would fix. Not what I expected after a long day of travel. Also, they said free parking on my reservation, parking is $33 plus tax.

Great surprise!
I kept checking my reservation details because I couldn't believe I got this place for so cheap. Huge room with nice view of canal/river. Loved everything about it. Keep in mind that valley parking is required, not a choice, in case you are squeamish about other people driving your car. This is a Doubletree property but with some condos or larger suites. Stayed only one night. Wished I could have stayed longer.

Not as expected. When I checked in at 3am after a delayed flight the door was propped open by the deadbolt.. Not very secure for a woman traveling alone. No hotel amenities or maid.. No fresh towels each day.. No coffee for coffee maker.. . I would not book this again.

Nice Hotel, beautiful view
We stayed here for a training conference, not a vacation get-away. Hotel was very nice, and the front desk staff was wonderful! Bar staff both days was not so great. Long wait times to get a drink and order food. Hot tub was broken, which was VERY disappointing. Pool and view of the waterway was beautiful. I would recommend this Hotel. It was reasonably priced and our suite was lovely. Valet parking was free with out suite, and we took an Uber to dinner both nights which was less than $5 both times.

Disgusted!
This private condo experience was very disappointing. The room was disgusting. I tried to look beyond the dirty shower floor grout, dingy blanket with stains, dust on the nightstands and lamps, dirty carpet, broken cabinet, tear in the sheet, and what looked like water stains and mold on the ceiling and around the air conditioning but the last straw was roaches. My daughter and I came back from a long day just to turn on the lights and be greeted by roaches. I went to the front desk but they said they couldn't do anything because it was a private condo. I called the number provided but there was no name on the voicemail. I emailed the email address provided on the room door and I still haven't received a response. I called Expedia and they tried to contact the management and I still haven't received a response. I could not believe it. After seeing roaches and making phone calls, I checked out at 11 pm and found another hotel.

Corner condo
We arrived during spring break and noticed many students on site. Despite that, we did not have issues with any rowdy or noisy guests. Our room was at the end of the building and had a second set of doors before entering our suite which helped block unwanted noise. The person at check in was really polite and checked me in quickly. All the valet guys were friendly and promptly retrieved our car. Our server we had for breakfast was such a happy person early in the morning which started our day off right. The pool area was small. The main beach is a far walk but driving there would take minutes. Our room provided a couple of beach chairs to go ale with us. Overal it was a good hotel and I would stay here again.

Spring Break 2017!
It was great overall! Perfect for my friends and I! To make the trip even better I felt like the pool area needed to have speakers and play relaxing music. This is the first hotel I have been too that has ever not had music playing. The hotel was very nice and the rooms were very big! It was close to the beach, mall. and grocery store, everything within walking distance! Overall a great stay!

Nice condo for a group of girls
The condo was very nice but we did have to provide everything for ourselves. The bathroom and bedrooms were all clean and nice. The beds were comfortable but the pull out couch was not comfortable and very dirty. The view was good and overall the hotel was very safe and nice. The staff was very nice and welcoming with cookies. Valet was very helpful as well. The pool and hot tub were nice.

Dirty Messy Room and Non Responsive Owners
After driving 3 hours to the property we were tired. Upon opening the door our observations were wet dirty towels strewn everywhere, unmade beds with used linens, garbage in the cans, stains on the carpet and sticky kitchen area floor. We headed back down to the lobby with our luggage. After waiting 3.5 hours in the lobby the room was ready for occupancy. In the morning we discovered two bed bug bites. A partial refund of was requested in the amount of $23.37 for the 3.5 hours we were unable to occupy the unit, the owner has not responded.

Hotel couldn't find reservation when I first arrived. Then I received a letter from them saying there was a problem with my payment ( Travelocity took the money out weeks ago ) I have stayed at this hotel plenty of times thru Expedia and it had been wonderful. The private condo room was dirty, the toilet disgusting. Smelly food still in the garbage. One coffee cup, half a roll of toilet paper and 3 towels. No explanation anywhere about how to get towels or toilet paper. Rugs filthy. Bedding grungy. Hotel pretty much said we were on our own because it was a private condo.

We also have units on the south and east sides of the building. But the best views are from the north side.

Everything was great about the stay. The only feedback I have is for Jeffrey at the front desk. He made me feel not as welcome because he could not find my reservation & blamed it being booked by a 3rd party. The booking source should not change the treatment I receive when checking in.
