「The staff were wonderful, from check in to check out. I was particularly impressed by the amenities in the room--iron and ironing board, especially. The food for breakfast was vintage English breakfast! It was delicious. There was a slight delay in replenishing some of the food. Nevertheless, breakfast was still great.」
「One bedroom suite booked. Sofa bed in sitting room. Spacious. V clean with new decor. Used washing machine. Easy to use. Good soundproof quality. Plenty of storage. One downside: not enough parking spaces. Needed to park on street right outside hotel (allowed between 7 pm to 7 am the next day). Husband then got up around 6:30 n parked our car back into hotel’s compound once after a car left. Otherwise the stay was perfect」
"I'm very concerned with the sleeping quality that I can get in a hotel so this hotel is between 3 to 4 out of 5 for me. The bedding is very comfortable and the room is very decent and clean. The only downside is that the wall and door are really too thin, and that the hotel is busy with people in and out. The door when closed would create a loud noise capable of waking everyone up. You can hear the music and conversation of the adjacent room easily.
Also, the cleansing staff, although having done a great job in cleaning, was really creating loud noise when they clean (including slamming the door of the cleaning room). Despite putting up "do not disturb" sign outside my room, the staff knocked on my door at 9:20a.m. just to confirm if I need housekeeping service. This is simply too annoying and stressful for a quiet enjoyment of the room."
