"Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food and service at the Chop House was outstanding. However-spa Mud experience was very disappointing as there were technical difficulties with the music (none at all) and steam (intermittent with cold air blowing). We did this experience last year and it was amazing so we knew exactly what to expect. The staff apologized but acted as if we were doing something wrong and said that the cold air was normal (did not happen last year). Also they brought in a Bluetooth speaker and told us to go get one of our phones from the locker room so we could have music. We were covered in mud. Maybe instead they should have offered one of their phones? They did offer a 20% discount but we had to remind them when we went to pay. Also some of the others in our group went to use the pool and found it was closed due to renovations. We understand this happens but we had called previously to see if it was open and we were told it was. Casino- could not even stay to enjoy the band because it was so smoky. Another one of our group was at a nonsmoking blackjack table and while playing, they changed it to a smoking table. I realize this is not on the establishment but thought I’d mention that the Chippendales show was a huge letdown especially after seeing it last year. Rooms were good-nice sized, clean and comfortable beds."

"The room was old. Not even a vent fan in the bathroom. The bar/restaurant had surprisingly good food and the gentlemen behind the bar was very pleasant and accommodating. On the other hand Ruth was rude, nasty, and just awful. Breakfast was a joke. This is a large hotel that only has a breakfast buffet. The place was filled to capacity and certainly unprepared for this breakfast debacle. The kept running out of food and had 2 self serve waffle makers with a capacity crowd, a joke. Make a pot of oatmeal, it’s easy, instead of packets of instant. The young lady is he with the more interested in making sure you’ve paid and making sure you ate. Pay when you enter or don’t sit down. And the biggest joke is they’ll let you in five minutes before they close and then when they’re ready to close are you grab what you can cause we’re closing the buffet. The police is a free-for-all people in the lobby with coolers bringing their own bottles of liquor and wine which is creating a mess everywhere. I’ve never seen a restaurant where you could bring in food from the outside and leave the mess all over the table until eventually there was nowhere to sit. And then when my son-in-law asked for a check out he was told no, because they were sold out for the next day. However when he went online availability for the next day was wide open . I guess for the price, if that’s your thing, you got what you paid for."

"The hotel needs renovation the bathroom toilet had burn melts on the seat and rust in the toilet itself, the bathroom shower had rust and stains. The card scanner on the door keeps reading the room key but the door wasn’t opening .overall the rooms need an upgrade. Everything seemed run down and old technology equipment."
