「Location in central Newtown was terrific. The main floor restaurant was shut down. No elevators to third floor so 42 steps to the third floor and no bell staff so dragging all your bags up was not a good start. No hot water in the shower. Got moved to second floor was an improvement. Historic hotel (opened during Civil War) was alluring but couldn’t recommend it.」

「Everything went smoothly, check in was quick, staff were friendly and wanted to go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Room was spotlessly clean and huge. Would definitely stay here again.」
