「The location was great! Just on the other side of the bridge to Siesta Key. Nice pool and grill area. Beautiful updated spacious suite with living room, small dining, bathroom, separate makeup area, and big bedroom with great storage. No breakfast, but so low price and minutes from breakfast in Sarasota or Siesta Key. They had multiple vending machines and coffee all day, and an outdoor cabinet with beach chairs and toys to borrow. We highly recommend!」

「The Avalon was a great spot for our family! It was clean and had kitchen amenities that were helpful- coffee maker, dishwasher, stove top pans, etc. The staff was always hospitable and kind. We loved having beach chairs and an umbrella to use while at the beach. Being right on the beach made it easy to go back and forth from the beach and the view was beautiful! 「The beach is perfectly clean and very close, no seaweed. The ocean is so warm and beautiful. The local bus which they call trolley is free to use. We landed at Sarasota International Airport that is closer than Tampa. It is beautiful to see everything around you. Beautiful Florida. Owners should make clear that guests don’t have to go to a different property to check in. Online registration is annoying. Our room was clean and a new unit. My son picked up an ear infection in the pool.」

「Overall I initially had a pretty good impression of the hotel and enjoyed the stay at first. However, around 1 AM, I found a cockroach in the kitchen eating my snacks, and then found more cockroaches near the bedroom door, in the bathroom, by the kitchen sink, and in the closet. 「This condo is like a hotel however they never give you clean towels and they never clean up your rooms even though they say they do. There was a wedding right outside my room the last day I was there. I asked them about it and they lied to me saying it would be done by nine and it went well past 1130 at night and we had an early flight. I would not recommend this place to anyone.」
