「Dirtying 」

「Upon arrival I found that the room was attractive, clean, and smelled fresh, no chemical smells or sticky surfaces. I love the colors and simple modern furnishings, comfy bed and fresh, clean bed clothes. I enjoyed being in the room! There was a nice size mini-fridge (with freezer area for ice packs), a new microwave, plenty of hot water…」

「The first room we were given, had sheets that were slept in and simply straightened out. The mattress had huge stains on it. And so did one of the pillows. Completely unacceptable. Extremely friendly staff at the front desk, were horrified at what I found and got me another room right away. That is the only reason this hotel did not get one star. Cleaning staff should be disciplined for this lapse.」

「The toilet of our first room was nasty. I showed splashes of doo doo under the seat and in the bowl. The lady on the front desk was awesome. She changed is to another room. Then we found that the sheets between the comforter and the fitted was missing. Not to mention that the body wash bottle was left empty on the sink counter. This falls under housekeeping. Someone needs to do some supervising. It's bad because the place was recently renovated and it actually looks nice.」
