Would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody staying in Florence! It is about a 15 minute walk to the city central, a 5 minute walk from the main train station. The neighborhood is very safe around the hotel as well! 24 hour front desk service and they accommodate you quickly with any of your needs! Definitely worth it especially with the price !

Perfect!

The rooms were spacious and airy, and the bathrooms and toilets were clean. Additionally, we reached the city center and the hill with a view of Florence on foot. We left our luggage early at check-in, and they gladly kept an eye on it for us so we could explore a bit more at check-out. For this, we are grateful. We highly recommend this place everyone☺️

A nice and clean hotel, hidden away so little confusing but all worked out. Room was very clean, can't fault that. Refurbed so that was good. The shower and toilet were ridiculously high, can't work out why. Felt Quite unsafe getting in and out of shower - only fault.

The location of Arcadia Guesthouse was absolutely amazing! It was about a 5 minute walk to Firenze Santa Maria Novella station & around 10 minutes to get right into the city centre and the “heart” of Florence, which was fantastic. It’s also super close to a tram stop almost right outside the building. The hotel staff was great & was super responsive as we were arriving later at night. However for the place itself, it definitely wasn’t the best stay. The walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING, from doors slamming to your neighbours conversations, to footsteps from above, below & beside you, which was very very annoying. It also was a bit tricky to find at first, and if you’re arriving at night, it feels a bit sketchy, but once you’re inside it’s okay. Overall the location was fantastic, and it was a good stay for just a couple short days. I don’t think we would stay any longer than that again. If you want to get places by walking, or if you have any trains to catch, then this place is for you.

The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the main train station Santa Maria Novella and 10-15 minutes from all major sightseeing spots. However, the positives end there. Unfortunately, the staff were quite unfriendly. One can only hope they were locals, otherwise, it would be an absolute disgrace. The room door was difficult to lock, which was quite frustrating. The exterior of the building looks very rundown and unassuming. The bathroom was not particularly clean, which added to the overall disappointment. On a positive note, the hotel's premises on the 1st and 2nd floors do not look rundown and the floors are secured with locks, which is reassuring. We didn't have breakfast included in our stay, so I can't comment on that. Ultimately, the price is only justified by the convenient location. If it weren't for that, I would not recommend staying here, especially if a good service is important for you.

The only redeeming qualities of this so-called hotel are its proximity to Firenze SMN Train Station and the 24-hour service desk. Beyond that, our experience was nothing short of disappointing. Room Conditions The showers were tiny, poorly designed, and downright dangerous. One didn’t even have a place to put shower items, and both were elevated off the ground with no safety railing, making slipping almost inevitable. One room had a musty smell of mold that couldn’t be aired out. To make matters worse, the door hinge in our room closest to the stairs looked like it had been kicked in, with the wood frame broken—hardly reassuring for security. Photos show mold on the sheets. Noise and Disturbance Our second room was no better. We heard footsteps outside our door during the night, even though there were no other rooms nearby. It was unsettling, to say the least. Customer Service Trying to communicate with this hotel was an absolute nightmare. We had to reach out multiple times before getting a response, and when they finally replied, they were unfriendly and unhelpful. Poor Value For the price we paid, this hotel was barely cheaper than other options in the area. Given the subpar conditions and lack of basic amenities, it was a complete waste of money. Final Verdict If you’re looking for a place that’s barely functional with zero regard for comfort, safety, or customer service, then this might be the spot for you. Otherwise, avoid this hotel at all costs.

This place is great! Less than a 10 minute walk to Santa Maria Novella train station. The bathroom is spacious and the room was huge! AC was amazing and we even had a mini fridge!

O hotel fica muito bem localizado ao lado da estação, por fora ele é bem velho mas o quarto é bom, simples cama Confortável e estava muito limpo. Pra 2,3 noites super atende. O wifi funciona muito bem! E os recepcionistas muito atenciosos.

Não estava conseguindo hotel com bom custo-benefício para as datas que eu precisava. Olhei as fotos deste e achei ok. Tinham comentários bons e uns ruins, achei que poudessem estar exagerando e optamos por reservar este. Me arrependo imensamente! A única coisa boa é que o quarto estava limpo, de resto tudo muito ruim mesmo! Cama horrível, com formato do corpo das pessoas. Banheiro com cheiro ruim vindo do ralo. Barulho do metro ao lado do quarto. Horrível! Não reserve este local, vai estragar sua viagem.

Die Ausstattung ist sehr minimalistisch, aber das war das kleinere Problem. Das Bett war sehr gut. Die Reinigung war extrem Schlecht. Der vordere Bereich war schon wie wir gekommen sind schon lange nicht gesaugt, nachdem wir drei Tage da waren immer noch nicht. Wenn man den Toilettensitz desinfizierte, wechselte die Farbe. Es wurde also der Fußboden und der Toilettensitz mit dem selben Lappen gewischt. Am letzten Tag als wir zurückkamen stand die Zimmertür offen (wir hatten sie zugesperrt). Scheinbar wurde die Reinigungskraft irgendwie gestört, den die gesammelte Schmutzwäsche des Tages lag auch noch drin (also von allen Zimmern). Das ich den Wäschesack rausgestellt habe wurde von den Mitarbeitern schnell bemerkt. Das die Zimmertür einen halben Tag offen Stand (nicht nur angelehnt sondern richtig) nicht. Für die Preisklasse 150€ pro Nacht findet man auch in Florenz besseres.

Das Hotel ist ein bisschen versteckt, quasi auf der Etage. Ein bisschen abgewohnt, aber sauber und ordentlich. Der Balkon geht direkt zum Hauptbahnhof raus und ist nicht von denen der anderen Zimmer getrennt. Die Lage ist prima, alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Parkmöglichkeiten vom Hotel gibt es nicht, man kann aber vergünstigt (25 EUR) in ein nahe gelegenes Parkhaus fahren.
