「Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent! Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom. 「The hostel was clean and comfortable. Room and bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. The view from the panoramic lounge was amazing and it was well stocked with board games and toys for the children to play with. Torridon is a short walk away with a general store and there is a lovely cafe nearby too. 」

「We enjoyed the quiet location and it was an ideal spot for exploring the highlights of the Isle of Skye. The location needs a bigger sign to indicate the driveway. We had to ask some strangers for directions when we were trying to find it. We could also have used a bit more toilet paper and towels. The pillows in the room with the double bed were thin and unsupportive. Apart from this we had a pleasant stay.」
