We really enjoyed our stay. The room was so inviting and breakfast was made to perfection. Highly recommend this stay for those who are looking to really relax.
The drive-in is exhilarating. The owners were charming and incredibly helpful. The place is remote with very nice hiking options. With a little planning there is very good food nearby.
We loved our stay in Applecross! The cabin was lovely and the area is wonderfully quiet. Coffee in the morning on the porch with a highland view was incredible.
The hosts are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The hikes they suggested were stunningly beautiful. The area is quiet and relaxed..one of our highlights of our 2week stay
Super nice place! Pretty much in the middle of nowhere (what we wanted) with stunning views when driving through the mountain pass. Brand new cabin with kitchen, livingroom, bedroom and toilet/shower. Got all info via email, how to get there and key lockbox code. Owners super nice!
I've stayed in many B&Bs in my life, and I can confidently say this is one of the best experiences I've had. The place is perfect, spotlessly clean, the hostess welcomed us with charm (and gave excellent advice), and the breakfast was delicious. Every detail is carefully thought out, right down to the binoculars available at the entrance. Too bad I have to cross the ocean to come back!
Very cosy our stay in Applecross.
The owners very helpful and kind.Home breakfast excellent. As we were at home.

This place was amazing. Everything was perfect. We ended up there when Expedia messed up our hotel reservations and we could not have been happier. It was so comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. Everything was top notch.
Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent!
Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom. The honesty bar was great for stopping in the room (wine, beer, soft drinks, various snacks) - we came away with some of the lovely shortbread. Not to mention the welcome drinks which was a lovely touch.
The B&B is right out of Applecross and so we took a drive back to the Applecross Inn for dinner with a lovely view out over the bay.
Scottish breakfast was perfect and the locally smoked salmon was fabulous! It set us up for the day with a lovely a walk around Applecross before heading off the beat the incoming Amy.
Marion and Moray Were the greatest hosts. Very welcoming and I had my very first full Scottish breakfast at this place, which was amazing 😃 their recommendations on navigating around and how to get to next destination with checking out amazing places was helpful. very much appreciated.
This is a beautiful property in a very remote area. To get there you drive a one lane track over the top of the mountain or a one track road around the coast. Both are beautiful, but time consuming. If you’re looking for a peaceful vacation this is perfect. But it is too long a drive if your plans are on the Isle of Skye.
Had a very comfortable two night stay at Applecross BnB. The directions made the place easy to find. The self check in was easy. The owners were friendly and full of information on local walks and attractions, including where to go to look for otters, birds, and red dear. Breakfast was good too, including several hot options, as well as cereal and yogurt. We also got to see the pine martins visit the front patio during breakfast. If you want scenic drives (mountain or coastal) and a a cozy uncrowded place to ramble, Applecross is great and this BnB is a wonderful place to stay. The self check in was as simple as can be and they keep a well-stocked honesty shop so you can purchase drinks, a snack, or midgespray anytime. We got a room with two twin beds. It was spacious and comfortable with a good, clean bathroom. The patio looks out over a garden and is a nice place to sit and soak up more of the scenery. I will absolutely go back if I get the opportunity to visit the highlands again.
This is quite a remote spot. We realized this but spoke with another couple who had booked a room and were unsure if they were going to stay their second night because of the location so I guess just know that. Coming across the mountain pass is an experience with narrow twisty roads, but just gorgeous! We never met the owners. Arrived in the evening and went downstairs after settling in 3 times hoping to find them to ask about some local places but they were not around. They had emailed saying our key would be in our door and gave us a number to call but stated they weren’t a hotel so may not answer so leave a message. In hindsight this didn’t make us feel they were very approachable. It was very warm and our room window was open when we arrived (no air conditioning but we were prepared for that). There are no screens on the window. We left the window open, hoping for cooler evening breeze as our upper floor room was hot. We went downstairs and visited with another couple and looked a last time for owners then went up to shower and bed. It was too hot for covers but within an hour we realized we were getting swarmed by bugs. We went downstairs to see if maybe anyone was up or if we could find bug spray but it was late at that point. We closed our window and tried to sleep but the remaining bugs and heat made it tough. By 5 am we gave up and since the heat was going to continue and we couldn’t imagine another night like that we packed up and left at 6:30 still never meeting
Owners were great and very helpful. This is a place that you will talk about after you leave. The road to get there is a challenging. Well worth the effort.
