The breakfast was very good!!! We also had dinner reservations and it was also very good. Everyone there was very friendly and the service was amazing. The pillow was a bit flat and the bed a bit small but overall really enjoyed the pod type of hotel. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

The bedside lamp was not functioning, and upon inspection, I discovered that the issue was due to a missing bulb. Additionally, the shower area has poor drainage — water drains very slowly, causing a puddle to form during use. Our room was located in one of the furthest cabins from the reception building. When we requested porter service to assist us to our room, the receptionist informed us that the porter had already finished his shift. However, according to the briefing sheet, porter service is available until 9:30 p.m., while we were told the porter ended his shift at 8:00 p.m. This inconsistency was quite disappointing.

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic. The rooms were cozy but immaculate and quiet. Offerings of free use of the saunas and an included breakfast made our stay exceptional. Dinner at the restaurant located on site was incredible. Would absolutely recommend a stay here if looking to splurge a little while on Skye

A beautiful hotel and area. Cool hut rooms, small but cozy. The sauna and cold plunge is a nice addition to the experience. Our bathroom had a musty smell. They moved us to a different room. The onsite bar and restaurant was great. Nothing else around within walking distance.

We loved our stay here! The beds were comfortable, the property beautiful and the staff were top notch. We loved Imogen she was fantastic, she wanted to chat and engage with us, had great recommendations for things to see and do while on Skye. She was a great bartender, and was just really personable. The cabins are lovely, and don't let the gravel walks to your cabin scare you away from this one, they have a porter to help get the bags to the cabin. 10 out of 10 for Bracken hide.

Great place and experience. They need to get some stuff worked out. Staff communication and ability to teach staff. Long dark hair in shower which is neither me or husband. Things need to be fixed and sauna was dirty. Need a system in place for turning on, cleaning and grabbing towels and having them cleaned from Sauna . It's expensive therefore things need to be better . I'm rooting for them . It's a unique hotel with a lot to offer. It's a great place

All around great experience. Mina the bartender is excellent at her job, helping us find a great whiskey. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We absolutely loved our stay! It’s such a unique and memorable place — more of an adventure destination than a typical hotel, which made it such a cool part of our trip. Considering the staffing challenges the Isle of Skye faces in general, the service was excellent. We knew what to expect, so the smaller rooms and short walks to the cabins weren’t an issue at all. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we’d definitely return!

Luft nach oben Die Lage des Hotels ist einmalig schön, mit einem wunderbaren Blick in die Highlands, Portree und die Küste. Für ein 4-Sterne Resort ist das alleine aber zu wenig. Die Cabins sind schön eingerichtet, man fühlt sich durchaus wohl, aber es ist eng. Es ist einfach zu wenig Stauraum vorhanden, um Koffer abzustellen oder das Waschzeug im Bad. Die Sauberkeit, vor allem im Bad, ließ zu wünschen übrig: Waschbecken wurde gemacht, Dusche und Boden aber nicht. Das ist nicht 4-Sterne würdig. Insgesamt macht das Gelände und die Wege einen vernachlässigten Eindruck. Das mag zum ‚wilderness‘ Konzept gehören, nützt aber nichts, wenn man sich auf den holperigen Schotterwegen den Fuß verstaucht. Das Essen ist insgesamt in Ordnung, allerdings hätten wir von 4-Sterne Küche ein bisschen mehr Finesse erwartet. Das Frühstück wird nett auf einer Etagere gereicht, ist allerdings knapp bemessen und das frische Obst bereit leicht angetrocknet, was einen unappetitlichen Eindruck macht. Eierspeisen kann man separat bestellen. Insgesamt passt Preis-Leitung hier nicht ganz zusammen.

Absolutely loved our visit to Bracken Hide hotel. The property is beautiful, the cabins are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bed was comfy. We were cozy and warm. Our stay included breakfast which was fantastic and we ate dinner both nights at the restaurant and the food was delicious. This was a great base for us as we explored the Isle of Skye. They had a couple of cute little sheep on the property and they were just hanging out by the cabin the first morning. Love this place and wish we could have stayed longer and yes definitely would come back!! Best hotel of our whole vacation.

This is a very unique hotel. Be warned….you have to walk along a gravel trail to your room from the parking lot. All in all I would stay here again. They are very efficient in transporting your bags at check in and check out. It would be nice if they had more staff driving a golf cart so older guests don’t have to walk to their rooms. They did transport 3 in our party when we checked in.
