"Maryculter House is a fantastic historical hotel with fantastic festures. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. Brilliant restruant for both breakfast and dinner. The setting alongside the river gives a grest view. It was our second visit there and would definitely use again."

"We had a very large room, with a huge bed (Rm1) The room had everything you needed, it was very spacious, but it did get uncomfortably warm. There are 3 large windows you can open, plus a fan in the wardrobe, we couldn’t sleep without leaving 2 windows open. The outside & grounds are really nice but the inside could do with some TLC, cracks in the walls, looses banisters, our room door shut with a very loud bang and no matter how hard you tried, it always slammed shut, not good for neighbouring rooms. Had breakfast & dinner here, food was good but coffee often only like warm. Plenty of parking. "

"Lights didn’t work in the room. Room clean. Communal areas and toilets not great. Breakfast was good with a good selection. "

"Our suite was perfect for a 2 night stay. The facilities were excellent: swimming pool, sauna, table tennis, squash and fitness room. All set in lovely surroundings near Ballater. Really enjoyed a relaxing break"
