"Wonderful stay - perfect for our multi-generational "girl's trip." The staff was responsive and friendly, parking was easy and convenient, neighborhood was quiet but close to lots of restaurants. I won't stay anywhere else if I'm visiting Portland. "

"Great hotel. Friendly staff. Clean spacious rooms. The breakfast is a gem. Good food and a wide variety. Pool is ver small so it got crowded quickly would be my only complaint about the hotel itself. All the restaurants that are close by close early so if you are looking for a night out make sure you start early. "
"This was the clear winner of all the stays we had (6 different hotels) on our 8 day scenic route driving trip from San Francisco to Seattle. We really needed a place to spread out and regather our things before packing up and flying home. We had really bad hotel just north of the Seattle Zoo before arriving at Park Lane, and our stay here was very much needed. We had room 409 tucked up in the quiet back corner of the building. I initially thought we weren't going to get a great view of the city that most rooms had. Then we opened the curtains to reveal the beautiful shady backyard garden next door. The suite had everything we needed, and generous square footage. Our stay here got us back on track during a busy activity packed trip. It was the perfect finish. The hotel and the neighborhood.
Our Portland visit included some hiking on the forest trails only a few blocks up the hill in Stearns Canyon. Those trails continue to Rose gardens, Hoyt Arboretum, the Zoo, a Japanese garden, all within a leisurly hour wooded hike.
Our main reason to visit was the Devo show at the Willamette riverfront. Our 8 days on the west coast followed 4 dates on their 52nd year of touring. Duty Now! We walked the 1.4 miles from to the show since we wanted to grab lunch on the way. Plenty of dining options and interesting street art was found on the way on SW Alder St. The downtown area was pretty chill when we left the show. We got some ramen on our walk back.
Highly recommend the suite rooms!"
"Very friendly staff, quiet building at night. At the center of downtown Portland where you can pretty much walk anywhere and experience its culture, food, and art. Decent price as well. "
