The front desk people are nice and friendly, but the place is NOT impressive. The bed matresses are thin and hard, the pillows are sparce and not soft. The supposed "dinette" feature is just a sink with high faucet, no burners, etc. This cabinet has doors without any shelving and there's no dresser with drawers for any of your clothes. It does have a full sized fridge with is great. But the internet SUCKS. It keeps dropping out and getting back on is challenging, and the speed is very slow. Forget streaming. The bathrooms have been remodeled nicely and the rooms have good lighting. The place is very noisy being right on the freeway and all units have exterior doors.
The peep hole in the door had no glass in it and opened up to the outside. The door didnt close all the way. The window wouldnt lock. The outside was very dirty ans smokey.
Property management was very nice and helpful. Props to them! We knew what we were getting into so no big surprise that this place was not nice. Is any Motel 6 nice? We were attending an event and all hotels in the area were sold out. This was our only option. Lots of homeless, escorts, and drug abusers in and around the property. Most leave you alone though. The room looked like there was blood on the light switches... Again, the manager was great. Property not so...
As soon we pull up to the parking lot we found shredded glass on the floor, cars with broken windows etc. there was a strong smell of marihuana when we were walking through the hallway towards our room. The room smelled disgusting ( that we got headaches from it), it was dirty, we found human hair in the sheets. There was no way we were going to be there sleeping on that nasty bed with dirty sheets with dirty stains and hair. We left like 5 minutes after we checked in and ask for a refund but the owner refused to give us a refund.
Upon check-in, one of our rooms had a beeping sound coming from the ceiling. I reported this to the front desk (many other people were having issues with reservations/rooms which told me this place has other proiblems) and the lady at the desk told me to just remove the battery in the smoke detector. I don't think this is allowed via California fire laws but did as instructed as we needed to get to sleep but the beeping continued. I then removed the smoke detector itself and put it in the fridge (to make sure that wasn't it) and the beeping continued. I reported to the front desk again and she replied that there were just no other rooms available for us to move to and for me to see if the clock radio was the source of the beeping. I returned to the room and we searched for the clock radio only to find it had been shoved into a cabinet unplugged with no batteries in it so that wasn't the source of the mysterious beeping (the fact that it was hidden in a cabinet made us wonder if the previous people in that room had been fighting the beeping like we were) which was still coming from somewhere inside the ceiling. I called to the front desk again and she announced that she had "found" a new room for us. (Did this room appear out of thin air?) We then moved to the new room which.... thankfully was not beeping. See my other review for the issues we had with our second room..

Arrêt juste 1 nuit, très près autoroute ( bruyante même la nuit),
Chambre propre mais qui aurait besoin de rénovation,
Beaucoup de choix de restaurant à pied de l’hotel
Same old Motel 6, get your key from the pick up window because the front door entrance is locked all day, get to the room, and sleep. Outside parking had a few shady looking cars, people looking like their in limbo, but the motel has a private security office that comes around every 3-5 hours. Should be know, but Don’t keep valuables in your vehicles!
Other than that, our room was nice and comfortable for motel 6. All the basic necessary appliances are available. Grocery store (Safeway) is 1 exit away, fast food, Denny’s are open 24hrs. For kids, Scandia is walking distance.
Came back for third night of our stay and room had been cleaned (good) but our luggage was gone! (bad) Front desk said room had been canceled and refunded to our credit card and he had our luggage (so someone packed it all for us? ew?) He showed us some paperwork and the credit card that the amount was refunded to was not our card. So, someone canceled someone else's room and got the refund for that room even if it was a prepay through hotels.com? Interesting that our room was canceled but our room key still worked. Major security issue as someone could have hidden in there for the next guest? They wanted us to pay for the room again and assured that the room was refunded to us. We called hotels.com who attempted to call the hotel but front desk hung up on them (we were in the lobby watching this) We tried to get a refund for our room to leave but he couldn't get authorization for that. We just left! SEVERAL other people were trying to get issues resolved. No bedspread in one room (none were available), one poor guy locked out of his room all day (it was now midnight). One lady ran into the office, put her key on the desk and ran out. She said they had just checked in & room was covered in Graffiti/stains. She didn't want a refund, she just wanted to leave. Several sketchy people wandering around property too. This hotel has "good" rating but recent reviews are pretty bad. (Ill check that in future) Hotels.com refunded our last night tho!! Go hotels.com!!!
It took almost 45 minutes to check in because they could not find the correct information.
The room did not have any soap.
Very disappointed.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Check in was HORRIBLE, it took 45 minutes. My reservation was non refundable. My credit card was charged and I had a confirmation number.
The problem was that the hotel had not received their payment from Expedia, so could not issue a key.
We had to ask for a bar of soap. The coffee maker had no coffee pot. When the front desk was notified, they had "to find one," and I had to go to front desk to pick it up.
Best part? My bed had a cheap blanket with cigarette burns in it and NO sheet. We had to go to front desk for that too.
The sole woman at the front desk, Colleen, worked very hard to make things right. She had a line up of several (5) sitting on the ground outside waiting the to check in.
Ultimately, this is an owner/management problem that is reflected throughout the facility.
I was looking to stay in Vacaville that night but it was soldout everywhere, i finallyfind this place and when i get to the night window lady says “we are sold out” and i said “i have a reservation” she checks mi ID and says “no, sorry” so i never got the room and still got charged $160! I have been trying to talk to you guys but all changed I can’t get thru its frustrating
