「The staff was very helpful and very accommodating; super easy check in process. Be warned that not all of the rooms have historic charm. The lighting in the bathroom is horrible for ladies who want to see themselves to apply makeup. If you don't expect all the comforts of a normal hotel, you won't be disappointed (bath mat, multiple bedside table lamps, etc.). Great location to our favorite "sleepy" side of the quarter.」

「Nice hostel with some private rooms in a great location near the French Quarter and Marigny district. Lovely yard and hot tub. Friendly staff. 」

「Location is one of the best in the quarter; it doesn’t get loud at night and is walkable to Frenchman St. The bed was also really comfortable, and the room decoration was really cute. The only downsides were that the sink faucet was very low (can’t fill a water bottle) and also, there was no dresser in the room to store folded clothes. Still, a really great and cost-effective option for a cute, quiet, private stay - which can be hard to find in such a busy area!」

「This was a beautiful space in a great location with a great price. We did find a dead cockroach on our last day, however it’s understandable being the age of the building…」

「The lady at the front tried to charge me for a night plus the deposit without telling me. She told me the amount on the screen was the deposit and I clocked her on it. She ended up saying it’s because she couldn’t find my reservation although she never once asked me for my confirmation number. I was baffled.」
