In the end it was all about the staff!!! Initially thought property was a little sketchy but the staff put me at ease and made me feel safe and welcomed. Great location just a walk to all locations with a good price tag!

This is an historic inn in a great location: an easy walk to many French Quarter and Marigny locations. We stayed in one of the lovely, spacious "old" rooms with high ceilings, hardwood floors, two (nonworking) fireplaces, and a modern bathroom. The courtyard, with pool, is beautifully landscaped and a delightful place to sit and relax outside. Staff were efficient, helpful, and just wonderful.

Easy walk to Frenchman's Street with live music and good food. It was also easy to walk to the French quarter, the riverwalk, Cafe du Monde, etc. We only needed a car to get to the Garden district for a tour. It is an older building, so the bathroom was tiny with a low ceiling, but the bed was very comfortable and the location was ideal.

Room is very nice and it is in prime location. However, our room was located nearest to the fence back door and all we heard was it slamming shut many times while we were in the room during the day and night. Otherwise, everything was great!
