Dirty around entrance the place was clean no elevator had to climb stairs with luggage to get to room. It’s a older estate but was very clean and staff was pleasant

It was cheap, in the middle of the French quarters, very charming... A lot of stores and restaurants around. The staff was very nice I would just say that the room was very humid and the bathroom way too small, the shower smelled like sewers ... But it was a wonderful stay overall I would def come back but pick another room

Clean facility with 24 hour front desk person. We stayed in the room in the main house which was decorated with period furniture. There was more outsidr noise as the room was facing Esplanade and there were Mardi Gras celebrations. The location was good in relation to resturants and entertainment on Frenchman St. They have a beautiful pool and courtyard. Staff was attentive to our needs.

We had a really nice stay at Lamothe House. All of the staff were really nice, and we were taken good care of by Pam our housekeeping staff member. Our room was lovely and clean. We had some difficulty connecting to the WiFi in our unit, which was detached from the main building across the street. We could never get it to pick up the correct network as an option to select, but suddenly connected when we stepped outside closer to the main building. Not a huge deal since we weren’t there to stay in and watch tv! The temperatures in New Orleans were unseasonably frigid while we were there, getting down into the 20’s. I’d recommend installation of a rubber door sweep on the bottom of the front door leading directly outside from the room to close the gap, which allowed a lot of air flow. We used a towel to block it. Otherwise we really LOVED our location and our stay and hope to visit Lamothe House again. 💜💛💚

Lamothe House was beautiful and very cool, a great French Quarter experience! I loved the courtyard and fountain and we were able to walk around to lots of fun places. We paid to park in a gated lot a couple of blocks away. Our room was nice tho the bed filled like 90 percent of it which wasn't a big deal for us :) We'd stay there again.

This is an historic inn in a great location: an easy walk to many French Quarter and Marigny locations. We stayed in one of the lovely, spacious "old" rooms with high ceilings, hardwood floors, two (nonworking) fireplaces, and a modern bathroom. The courtyard, with pool, is beautifully landscaped and a delightful place to sit and relax outside. Staff were efficient, helpful, and just wonderful.

Easy walk to Frenchman's Street with live music and good food. It was also easy to walk to the French quarter, the riverwalk, Cafe du Monde, etc. We only needed a car to get to the Garden district for a tour. It is an older building, so the bathroom was tiny with a low ceiling, but the bed was very comfortable and the location was ideal.

Old, but charming site with restored rooms. Great staff and convenient and walkable. Centrally located to Bourbon and Frenchman Streets. Parking is a quick walk once you find it (it’s tricky).
