「Great hotel, easy to park and room was really nice. No air con but there was a fan provided. Unfortunately tv did not work or the telephone. Receptionist said they were unaware and it couldn’t be fixed but offered access to the spa and drinks. However I already had access & had bought drinks in the spa. Spa would be very busy with day guests in the day. Breakfast was great and great choice available. 」

「Very tired old property. When they showed us the room it first reminded me of one of the servant quarters in a recent historic house tour. We booked a classic double. The room was damp, full of dusty furniture and the bed mattress springs were gone. There was a tiny window with a view to nothing. We lasted 10 mins and left. 「The room was lovely with a two seater sofa, spotlessly clean. Nice tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast was outstanding. Lots of choice really nice quality food and very nicely cooked. The evening meal that we had there was also very good. Nice play area for children. I would add the pub had air conditioning, fantastic in the hot weather enjoying a nice glass of wine. Lots of space in the pub, good layout with different rooms and in my opinion a big bonus plenty of parking. ...
