"The hotel is ideally located. It has a splendid sea view. Easily walkable to the town and the Inferno. The rooms are wonderful and quiet. The service is highly attentive. The breakfast was excellent too (just lacking citrus). Highly recommend and will definitely return."

"We upgraded to seaview room - it’s definitely worth it. Free parking/lovely easy going amenable staff/great breakfast/pool nice option (and cocktails!). Lots of dinner options walkable/supermarket little shopping centre/nice walkable swimming beaches. Very chilled easy going trip. It’s an older hotel but it great."

"Louis (concierge desk) is very attentive and helpful ...a very pleasant person... I wish all staff were like him.... Breakfast can definitely improve,never ready at 7:30 like advertised, and more courteous staff will be a nice touch.. I did notice a different treatment between English speakers and Spanish or Portuguese speakers...(Unfortunately) Air conditioning is almost inexistente at least in my room 403 The place need a urgent lifting, doors, Mattress,bathrooms, elevators.... I do understand that the decor its purposefully kept on the antique side but still it could be done without loosing that side... The hotel in general its ok but far from great at least not until some kind of renovation and staff training its done... But it has so much potential to be a great ...a really great hotel....then I won't hesitate to come back..."
