The owners are super friendly. We stayed at the cottage and it was more than what we were expecting. We are planning on coming back and staying at the cottage again! Also make sure to try their creme brûlée, it is the best crème brûlée I ever had.

Woodville is an amazing “gem” in a league of its own! Stefan greeted us upon our arrival & provided us some of the history of the home. As soon as you drive up, you’ll realize you’re in for a spectacular stay with every attention to detail, shear beauty, & amazing breakfasts!!!! Woodville is my favorite #1 B&B ever! Next time visiting in the Charlottesville area, pass on boring lodging….stay at Woodville! You’ll enjoy every minute!

This was the perfect retreat to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Host (Steffan) does a wonderful job with check-in, tour, availability, and especially breakfast. My wife would have preferred that we were not on the 3rd floor but I loved the extra room/privacy we had up there.

Great location for visiting wineries, breweries and distilleries. There are several historical sites close as well as trailheads to explore. The property is so relaxing and the staff(the four legged ones also) were so inviting, felt like we were visiting family. The breakfasts were amazing. We will definitely stay there again.

Perfect Stay
We stayed in the cottage for the weekend. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the owners. The cottage, main house and surrounding grounds were very warm and charming and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was amazing each day and we will not hesitate to book here again!

This property and my stay were substantially above expectations. The restored home is absolutely beautiful, especially the well-appointed Cedar Room at the back of the house that had an expansive view of the VA hills in the distance, the sweep of the large grounds, and the vines in the foreground, all from the patio off the room. All the latest technologies are easily accessible onsite. The trained-chef owner served extraordinary, delicious breakfast offerings, with the cabernet franc jam killer! The property is about 25 minutes south of historic downtown Charlottesville, but easily accessible within 45 minutes to any of the attractions in the area, such as the wineries and the presidential plantations. Lastly, most comfortable bed I've slept in that I can remember. Visit for granddaughter's wedding, but I will return just to enjoy the property and breakfasts again.

Beautiful inn. The innkeeper upgraded our room. Breakfast was a four 🌟 star. Spent time with us sharing the history of the inn. Will definitely come back the next time we visit Charlottesville.

We enjoyed a relaxing two-night stay at the beautiful Woodville Bed and Breakfast. The inn is a quiet, secluded treat with lush landscaping, tasteful decor and new fixtures all around. Our host, Stefan, was friendly and informative -- and is a trained chef, who cooks up thoughtful, delicious breakfast, with much of it locally sourced. Our room's sizable balcony was a perfect place to toast the cooperative sunset and lovely views of the mountains and vineyard. Be prepared for a bit of a drive to dining options, but it's worth the trip and we'd happily revisit Woodville.

Absolutely lovely. The property is perfectly secluded, the craftsmanship of the house is beyond beautiful. We were greeted by Stefan and willow (the owners pup). He walked us through the house and then we retired in for the night. Comfy bed, lovely and clean rooms. Breakfast was fantastic. Will be back.

I brought my son down to Virginia for military school and because it is his first time away from home I was feeling anxiety and wanted to stay someplace peaceful and soothing with a beautiful landscape. Initially, I planned to stay in a hotel but this wonderful bed and breakfast appeared on the list of hotels.com. When I read the reviews I noticed that EVERYONE raved about the place, and, I must say, they were not exaggerating. It is so warm, and cozy, and beautiful. The grounds are so well manicured; the hosts are lovely, gracious people, and even the dog, Willow, is a sweetheart. The room was spacious (I absolutely loved the vanity room); the bed was exceptionally comfortable, the pool was clean, and, last but not least, we were served an amazing breakfast every morning. My stay was beyond good. It was enchanting!

Stefan & Desiree met us on check-in, showed us our accommodation’s and gave us an overview of the amenities of their beautiful B&B. We rate their B&B a solid 5 stars in all categories. We especially enjoyed the quiet solitude, beautiful views and outstanding breakfast. We stayed in the adjacent cottage with a King bed, living room, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Without hesitation we would stay here again, and would highly recommend Woodville B&B. Thank you again Stefan & Desiree.

Amazing B and B experience!
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Woodville B and B. The accommodations were lovely, peaceful and relaxing, and the hosts were very hospitable. The property is magnificent and boasts a very relaxing and serene pools. While rural enough to really enjoy the peace and quiet, it is just a short drive from wineries and dining. Desiree and Stefan are top notch B & B proprietors and take great pride in their inn, and it shows. Our side porch overlooking vineyards was a great place to enjoy some wine at the end of the day. We highly recommend and will definitely be return visitors!

We just wanted a nice weekend away for our selves and the cottage at Woodville B & B was perfect. Stefan and Desiree were perfect hosts. The cottage was nicer than we expected. We also enjoyed the landscape including the chickens who greeted us everyday!

Great Time
Woodville Bed and Breakfast was truly delightful. The home is beautifully remodeled and furnished but feels appropriate to the period of the home (Victorian?). Good central AC, furnishing, bathroom (fully updated), new beds and linens and a location to die for. The view and grounds are unreal. There's also a heated pool with a newly installed heating system! Stefan and Desiree are lovely hosts and very approachable and accommodating. Stephan makes a BIG and mean breakfast. He's got culinary training and clearly knows what he was doing. My partner and I hope to come back.

Best B and B in Charlottesville area!!
This is truly an absolutely beautiful property with the most gracious hosts. We had a delightful stay in a beautiful room and thoroughly enjoyed spending our evening quite unexpectedly with our hosts Desiree and Stefan ! They are lovely lovely people who make you feel right at home. Our breakfast was absolutely delicious served in the most elegant dining room and we cannot wait to go back !! this is a 10 star property!! You will not be disappointed !!

Best Bed and Breakfast Experience Ever!
Woodville did not disappoint on our Weekend Getaway. There isn’t enough space to talk about all the great things my girlfriend and I enjoyed about our stay but here is my best attempt at giving credit to the Inn Owners for a Wonderful Experience The House & Room: Woodville has recently gone through a Beautiful Restoration. Our Room (Cedar Room) was quiet and spacious. The bathroom was spacious as it was gorgeous and the shower was awesome; great water pressure and hot water all weekend. The bed was one of the best I’ve slept on and the bedding was nothing short of spectacular. The entire home is cozy and quiet and was warm all weekend. The house was full Saturday night and my girlfriend and I couldn’t tell anyone else was home. The Inn Owners did this restoration RIGHT! Breakfast: Woodville’s breakfast was amazing. Over our two night stay we had the pleasure of enjoying two freshly made breakfasts with them. All the food is made fresh daily from local sources including an on property garden and chicken coop. Great selection of tea and the locally sourced coffee was great touch. Property: The property is gorgeous from the Vineyard and Mountain Views to the overall setting of the home at the top of the Hill. Location: Charlottesville and the surrounding areas have become popular for scenic views and the ever growing winery industry and Woodville makes it a perfect location to get to several of the region’s top and upcoming wineries within minutes.

I just can not say enough positive things about this amazing B&B! It was built in the late 1800’s and Stephan and Desiree bought several years ago putting two and a half years of hard work and love into making it charming, cozy and comfortable! #3cs. The house is huge with gynormous bedrooms and an amazing library for the book worms. We stayed in their very newly renovated cottage on the property. Absolutely perfect, has a full kitchen and washer & dryer 😳. But the view is the best. To die for! Give this a million stars!!!!!!

Fabulous place for a romantic getaway
This place is incredible! The historic B&B was recently restored and the owners clearly worked hard to make it a welcoming, elegant, and cozy. There is a heated pool with a beautiful garden as well as rocking chairs on the front and back porches. There are also 2 rooms that have access to the 2nd floor balcony with seating and a table. Everything was very clean and the linens were luxurious. Stephan makes a great breakfast with the freshest of ingredients. Desiree also makes wonderful bread! Their dog, Willow, is beautiful and friendly but not intrusive. We felt like welcomed guests and can't wait to go back!

We highly recommend this property as outstanding.
Greeted by Stefan and Desiree (and Willow, the dog) at the door of their elegant, recently restored and beautiful house, we spent 12 hours in tranquil luxury amid the grounds and gardens and a newly planted vineyard. Stefan’s attention and kindness extended to an unexpected Happy Hour on the porch and we sat watching the sunset, fuelled by a selection of cheeses and 2 exceptional local wines. We occupied a top floor room and bathroom, richly furnished and very comfortable. With deep oriental rugs throughout on wooden floors this property has been made an extremely attractive place to stay and we only wish we could have stayed longer. First class cooked breakfast with home-grown fruit, locally sourced sausage, bacon and eggs rounded off a truly memorable visit. Stefan asked us to be truthful in feedback - we were unable to find fault. A pity we live 5000 miles away! We have subsequently stayed in similarly priced B and Bs which, whilst we would recommend, did not meet the same exceptional standard as Woodville. An outstanding stay with exceptional hospitality, thank you Stefan and Desiree
