「We were visiting family in Bristol for the holidays and used Founders Brook as our home base for five nights. The property is close to Portsmouth’s downtown area and a hop over the bridge to Bristol. We had some of the best sleep we’ve had in years and felt very at home. This is the fourth time we have stayed here and each time we notice improvements. Love the complimentary toiletries!!」

「This place is amazing. The check in was very smooth. The staff was always available and incredibly helpful. Our room was very clean, comfortable. The breakfast is something no one should miss as they have the most delicious menu for each day. We will definitely go back there again. 」

「We had a pipe break at our condo and had to move out while it was being repaired. The Island House was perfect. We had a suite that felt very much like home. It had everything we needed to be comfortable from a large bed to a refrigerator to utensils and beautiful plate and flatware. The hotel is extremely clean, it is brand new, and has all modern fixtures, technology, and finishes. The staff was great, checking in via text everyday. We would highly recommend the Island House.」
