「Not great I'm afraid. The front desk desk staff were not welcoming- the lady on late at night when we checked in was downright rude. She ignored us and then insisted I filled out details of my car even though I wasn't using the hotel car park before giving us our keys. Ok if you need somewhere for an overnight, but I won't be returning.」

「The strength of Sea Tang is Chris and Claire. Simply lovely people who can't do enough. They think of everything and keep the B&B clean and well equipped. They know and love Brixham and are a wealth of help and advice on how to enjoy your time there. Breakfasts are wonderful and I'll never forget sitting watching the marina below through the window while enjoying eggs on toast. The B&B is perfectly located to access all things on Brixham and parking is a breeze. We will not hesitate to return.」

「No onsite parking as you have to park in the 4 level parade behind the Premier inn . The lift doesn’t work to get to street level . I have mobility issues and the 8 flights of stairs ? Had to walk down the ramp with suitcase in tow hoping you don’t slip or get stuck by a car . Asked the girl at reception, she’s like , well some times it works and sometimes it doesn’t! Big help . Complained the following day-and still not working asked the guy at reception to call the city council and complain....

「There was a wedding party which I was advised before I arrived. The hotel called me to confirm this which I was happy with. They brought the evening meals to the room which was very enjoyable. I have no issues with this whatsoever. They kept me informed. 」

「Lovely stay, just a few yards from the sea front. Lisa and Christophe made us feel very welcome. The swimming pool was great and just what you need after a long drive or busy day around Torbay. The breakfasts we enjoyed each morning were delicious and kept us full throughout the day. Would definitely return and highly recommend a stay at the lovely Charterhouse if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Torquay.」
