"The setting is beautiful. The staff were amazing - kind and attentive. Our room was very dated and in need of updating including the bathrooms. The furniture in the room was an odd collection of pieces that could have come from a yard sale. It was not up to the standard we expected given the cost of the room and the overall resort vibe. "

"Love this motel.... Late 50's motel but with modern updates and very clean and safe.
Only negative was the spotty internet service. That is a minor thing and issue throughout Vermont.
Manchester View was especially welcome to me as had been in a less than ideal situation 2 nights before.

"The property was as described and noted on other reviews a wonderful quaint, cute and quiet motel right off the road in a wonderful setting in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Michael at the front desk was a tremendous help. The walls are a bit thin but nothing unusual for a hotel this age and the occupants are quiet."

"The property appears to be in a refurbishing stage. But our room was fine, and the owners were very accommodating. Allowed us to use the laundry for free! Beautiful surroundings with walking path through the mountain-top woods. Short drive down the mountain to restaurants and shopping."
