"Great price for downtown Singapore. Clean, helpful staff, good shower. However, this hotel has the thinnest walls I have ever encountered in any hotel in Singapore or anywhere else in the world. I thought a crying baby I heard was right outside my door so I checked; it was actually in a room across the hall three doors away. Every single sound from the hall comes right into the room. I actually looked for an open window. Otherwise good hotel but don't expect to sleep soundly."

"Air conditoning very good, staff very helpful, room clean and room good size, shops opposite and bus to city centre 1 min walk away. Overall no issues and would easily recommend this as a place to stay."

"I can only speak for the dorm rooms but the mattresses, if you can call them that, are atrociously thin and you basically feel like you're sleeping on wood. I've stayed in many hostels and this is by far the worst sleep I've had in a hostel. Also, the plug outlet for my room wasn't working, and though the front desk was informed multiple times and they said they'd send someone up to fix it, they never did. They offered to have me change beds but moving all of my stuff was more of an inconvenience than what it.was worth. If the staff say they're going to do something than do it. "

"This hotel was excellent, and the price was great too. I had a great time staying here. The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants, many of which are opened late for those late night cravings or if you get in late, and some are 24 hours. Malls, groceries, the subway station, bus stops, street market, and the beach are all within a 20 minute walk. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind, friendly, helpful, and very professional. I highly recommend this hotel. It is an excellent place to stay."
