Ussually cab drivers know their town and mine was leery of the place. “watch your belongings” was his words of wisdom, but with only one other person in the shared dorm I was less vigilant. The storage locker was too small for my Rollie. Suffice it to say the room was clean, comfortable and quiet just over the river from the hustle of Portland. "

The hotel itself is beautiful, cozy, and welcoming it has such a warm boutique feel and doesn’t feel like a big chain hotel at all. Every detail made the experience feel comfortable and elevated. A huge thank you to Matty at the front desk for the outstanding hospitality. Truly topnotch service professional, kind, attentive, and made the stay even more memorable. One of the best parts is how convenient everything is. Bistro Alder right in the lobby has amazing food, and the hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to everything in the heart of Portland. If you’re looking for amazing hospitality, a cozy atmosphere, great food, and the perfect downtown location, I highly recommend Dossier Hotel. Can’t wait to come back!"

"Location downtown by the river is really nice. We also chose the hotel because of the rooftop bar & grill, the pool and the suite which could accommodate 4 and had a living room with a full dining room size table for us all to enjoy. However, the rooftop bar and grill which we had visited before with our 18 & 20 year old daughters was now only allowing 21 and older and would not accommodate us even though guests of the hotel that had planned celebration gatherings start there. And the suite to accommodate 4, had 2 sleeping on a mattress on the floor."
