「The host Marko is very nice to pick us up at the airport, he and his sister are helpful to provide tips. Without his help it is quite hard to locate the place on your own if this is your first stop. The location is quite close to Pile Gate but the stairs leading up to it is tiring!!! The room is clean, live up to expectation, with a view of the Fort (that's why you have to climb). The kitchen facility is very good! 」

「Great location , Domenika who help to check us in is so helpful, friendly n refer us to good restaurants as good value , good quality food. We live our top floor n have to carry out bags up n down. But fully understand cos old building do not hv lift. 」

「民宿在很陡很陡的陡坡上所以風景一覽無遺的美還可以看到日出。有很多專屬的停車位。床架很弱只要動一下就吱吱嘎嘎。廚房清潔度有加強空間。房東沒說二天換一次毛巾。沒給垃圾袋也沒說垃圾要自己倒，連住三晚積的垃圾到退房也還在。自駕前往最好先在大型超市買齊，因為附近只有一間小到不行的雜貨店。」

「We booked a room with balcony and stayed for 2-night. The room has a very comfy design and is maintained in good condition. Everyday they arrange room clean-up. The Scalini Palace is located in an excellent location, very close to the Main Street, taking us just a few steps to Stradun. It’s esp convenient if you want to take nice photos of old town in very early morning. No lift, same as many other hotels/apartments in the old town, so you have to walk upstairs to the floor you stay....

「I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Borna. Having a pool at the location made all the difference to our holiday on the hottest days in Dubrovnik. The apartments were just a short walk to the local beaches, a short walk to the bus into the old town and there were loads of eateries, bars and coffee shops really close by. Our host, Martin, was friendly, informative and welcoming throughout.」

「If you have large luggage (think checked bags or oversized carryon sizes plus backpacks) you may not want to stay in old town. You can’t drive in there and we had to bring our 3 suitcase (one over 60 pounds) up and down about 12 flights of steep stairs. Also, there is ZERO signage of this unit and found it impossible to find. No front desk help or guaranteed courier service offered.」

「The view from this place is amazing! Just beware stairs! There was some water issues on the day we checked in but the host quickly fixed the problem. The place is spacious and clean!」

「We had a very pleasant stay. The apartment was very clean, well prepared and nicely renovated, with everything you could need, including a well-equipped kitchen. We stayed in the top duplex apartment, which was very convenient for us. My son slept upstairs on the sofa, while I stayed downstairs in the bedroom, so we each had our own space. I also really enjoyed having a balcony. There is no real view from it, as another building is quite close in front, but this was expected and didn't bother...

「Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Leider hat der Abfluss im Badezimmer sehr unangenehm gerochen. Die Lage ist perfekt! Für uns war es sehr anstrengend, das Gepäck die Treppe hochzutragen. Frühstück gibt es in einem Café eine Straße weiter. Das Frühstück dort war leider etwas enttäuschend. Ich rate jedem, nicht die Pancakes zu bestellen. ;) Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.」

「Everything was just as described. The space was beautiful and clean. The air conditioning worked great. Location was perfect and easy to find. Only a few small sets of stairs. Host was super responsive. We would definitely recommend or stay here again!」
