"This place was by far one of the best hotels, we've stayed at. Its definitely for adults (adults only) but the food, service and room was really top notch. We had a jr suite and private pool so if youre celebrating 10 years of marriage like we were or on a honeymoon, this place is for you."

"Great Experience at Barceló Bávaro Beach! We recently stayed at Barceló Bávaro Beach, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well-organized and accessible. The Staff: The team here is highly professional, respectful, and always ready to help with a smile. Their attention to detail really stood out. Facilities & Beach: The beach is breathtaking, and both the beach and pool areas were pristine, orderly, and very easy to navigate. Activities: There was always something fun to do, with well-structured activities that kept things lively but relaxed. Everything was clean, accessible, and perfectly coordinated. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to come back!"

"Everything was fine overall, but the food at the buffet was always cold, whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The hotel has a policy that gives guests only 15 minutes to arrive for their restaurant reservations. At the Inari Teppanyaki restaurant, I arrived just 11 minutes after my reservation time. The manager informed us that the other guests with reservations for that seating had canceled and that she could not open a teppanyaki table for only two people. I suggested being seated at a regular table and ordering from the à la carte menu instead, but she refused. Her only alternative was for us to eat at the hotel’s buffet. What made the situation even worse was the way we were treated. The manager was very hostile and unprofessional throughout the conversation. When I asked for her name, she took off her name tag and held it up for me to take a picture, which I found to be a very confrontational and disrespectful gesture. This was my 12th visit to a resort in Punta Cana, and it was the first time I encountered staff who were not friendly. I’m not basing my opinion solely on this incident. Throughout my stay, I felt that the overall attitude and customer service were noticeably less welcoming than what I have experienced at other resorts in Punta Cana."

"The staff is INCREDIBLE!! Nicest people i’ve ever met. The pools are amazing the only bad part is they close at 6. Bars/bartenders also incredible! Beach is great but the seaweed is annoying in July but they do clean it every morning. The vendors who walk up to you on the beach do get very annoying you just have to say no and not look at them for them to leave you alone. Our room was amazing very clean in the elegance club along with the housekeepers doing great every day. The food is good with the sit down restaurants we thought but the buffets were ok along with the room service food. I would highly recommend this place. it was an incredible vacation experience and i would 100% go back to majestic elegance!!"
