Our butler, Hector, was phenomenal! He was attentive to our needs, made our reservations for dinner, dealt with checkout, and was very present. The hotel pools were lovely.

This is amazing resort, not sure why there's so many bad reviews! If you read them, don't let it stress you out, our vacation was great! Rooms were clean and spacious, fridge was restocked daily and room was cleaned. There was a SLIGHT smell of mold but it was gone within 5 minutes of being in the room. There's so much to do! Nightly entertainment in different locations, bowling was fun, the disco was awesome for people who like to drop it like it's hot! The lazy river was great, we spent many days there. The beach is quite rocky and the water is super rough, red flags everyday. The lagoon to the side of the resort is gorgeous! It's literally right beside the El Baso beach. There's no rocks just gorgeous sand and the waves are all broken by rocks further up in the water so the red flags do not matter. All the restaurants were great except for route 66 which we found all the meat very dry. We upgraded to privilege upon arrival and ended up getting the best butler ever! Jose Miguel Jimenez is a great guy, made sure to find us everyday to make sure everything was going great! He made all our reservations and took care of all our needs, he even got me a full case of water delivered to the room for my partner who drinks a crazy amount at night. He makes you feel like family. We truely enjoyed our stay and are even considering going back for 2 weeks instead of 1 next year! Again we want to thank Jose for making our vacation so great!

Nice staff, ray was out Expedia rep, he was pretty good. It was a bit of a challenge booking some of the restaurants as we have young kids and did not want late reservations. Buffet was nearly the same every night. However overall a positive trip.

Our stay at Ocean El Faro Resort - All Inclusive was absolutely wonderful. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The infrastructure is impressive — beautiful facilities, well-maintained spaces, and a stunning overall setting. The resort offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The staff is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. We would especially like to highlight Hector, who went above and beyond for us. He was always attentive and extremely helpful, particularly when he assisted us in recovering and sending back important documents that we had accidentally left in the room safe. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication truly made a difference for us. We warmly thank him for everything he has done — and continues to do — for us. We highly recommend this resort and would gladly return!

Our stay here was truly amazing. The room was always kept clean and the entire staff was super friendly. Our concierge José was the one who made our trip what it was. He went above and beyond in making sure we were taken care of completely. The whole resort was a breath of fresh air. Kudos to José for being an all around great person to know there.

That personal touch made planning each day effortless. He also handled all of our restaurant reservations seamlessly, ensuring we had great dining times without the usual stress of availability. On top of that, when we encountered a minor issue in our room, Miguel took immediate action and personally followed up to make sure it was fully resolved. His responsiveness and attention to detail were truly impressive. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated, proactive, and genuinely caring about guests’ experiences.
