"This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. "J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel et je le recommande sans hésitation. La chambre était impeccable, très propre et bien entretenue, ce qui est toujours très appréciable. L’accueil a été particulièrement chaleureux : le patron est une personne vraiment sympathique, à l’écoute et soucieuse du bien-être de ses clients. J’ai notamment beaucoup apprécié sa flexibilité, puisqu’il m’a gentiment permis de prendre mon petit-déjeuner avant l’heure habituelle afin que je puisse partir à temps...

"The staff were nice! But we had to pay 20 euros for sheets and towels as they were not included with the room. This was not stated until after the booking was made. Also the beds were basically just sofas, not very comfortable. Cheap just for a night to sleep but I would not stay there for more than a night."
