"Having just spent two nights at this wonderful hotel I can easily understand why just about every review here is 10 out o10. This is a fantastic almost perfect hotel. The owners, a sweet young married couple, are clearly utterly devoted to this hotel and every touch has their signature. "This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. "We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."
